Actually, WBC is backing up. Suleiman (or whatever he is spelled, who cares) said that a winner of Cotto vs Canelo will have to fight Golovkin. Then they will say that a winner of Canelo vs Mayweather rematch will have to fight Golovkin. ... and so on ... What a crook !

it's all about whether or not you have the ability to make Cotto fight as a counterpuncher, he is far more successful going forward. The question is whether or not Canelo can keep him going backwards.
If anyone can fight and make Cotto fight backwards he will lose, I'm not sure if Canelo will be able to bully him around since he was seemingly unable to do that to a smaller and less physical Mayweather.
