The point is you say Stevens is a puncher - where did he remotely bother Golovkin? If Golovkin didn't respect his power why would he respect the power of someone like Lemieux?
What I don't think you understand about the sport of boxing is you can be a great puncher but not hurt a guy. Look back at the Lemieux vs Alcine fight for example which I was talking about earlier. Lemieux is a big puncher, Alcine doesn't have that great of a chin. Now logic says that Lemieux was suppose to win that fight in stunning fashion right? Most fans just like me thought Lemieux was going to win that fight by an early ko which turned out wrong. Alcine was able to nullify his power, mostly with his effective jab. Which shows that Lemieux (at the time) was a very limited fighter. Do I still say Lemieux is a limited fighter in some ways? Yes. I think Lemieux is going to lose his next fight. It's all about levels man.
Alcine doesn't matter, you're not getting the point that it is all about levels.
GGG will KO Lemieux.

I think we all agree that GGG would likely KO Lemieux.

In my view Lemieux is better than Stevens though, and unlike Stevens he posses two-handed power and not simply a hard but predictable left hook. I also think that among the punchers of the division Lee is better than Stevens, but he's struggled several times with strong, agressive fighters and I'd expect him to be taken out fairly early.
Looking past these punchers, I think Canelo has the best mix of abilities to test GGG, as he can punch a bit, box a bit, and has a strong inside game. A big question I have with him is his stamina though, and despite impressively stopping Kirkland he did look uncomfortable with the pace to me.
Yeah GGG didn't look "spectacular" in that fight by any means but he still got the job done in the end. But yes I agree about your assesment on Canelo. He would be an interesting match up but I think ultimately his stamina will be the reason he loses this fight. I think Cotto poses the biggest problem for GGG since he is not only a very good boxer, he has power to go along with it and the experience. Experience being a big thing here. I'd love to see GGG vs Lara also

Reason i say that is because he seems to be falling in love too much with his power, and we all know that when a fighter just starts abandoning his skill cuz he doesnt have to use it it can reach a point where he just cant get it back.
This I DO agree with. There is the chance that GGG will get into bad habits because it's all so easy. When he needs to go to that other level that is there ability wise he may not be able to just switch it on that easily. When you get into bad habits it can be hard to get out of them.
There are signs that GGG is developing bad habits because he clearly is treating people with contempt.

Alcine doesn't matter? Dude it does matter. Just watching past tapes of fighters you can find clues or ways that a fighter can be beat. If you have an effective jab or can create space and keep Lemieux at a distance where his power won't effect you then it will be a big problem for Lemieux. Alcine has proven that.
But yes we all can agree GGG KO's Lemieux

I think the only middleweight contender who might give GGG problems if they fight in the next year or so is Chris Eubank jnr, and even then the odds are heavily against him. He does have decent power, boxing skills, stamina and a good chin. And, he does seem to have learned from his loss to BJS.

LOL at people giving Canelo a shot. Alvarez with his cement feet and bad stamina will get beat to a pulp by GGG.
Only possible upset I can envision (from 154-160) would be if Lara could stink out the joint and avoid GGG's bombs for 12 rounds while avoiding the heavy artillery and landing enough counters, but even that is highly unlikely.

Nobody at 160 got a shot. Ward at 168 is the only fight which would be intriguing.

Best chance; Canelo, but even he doesn't win.
None of the fighters on that list has much of a prayer against Golovkin.

He's either fighting light-middleweights or short people (Stevens, Monroe, Rosado. And yeah, Mayweather, Canelo, Cotto are aswell) or middleweights without power (Geale, Adama, Macklin, Ishida, Murray) - so its no wonder you've never seen him rocked.
I suppose he's got a good chin though, but its no wonder, just saying.

Stevens and Rubio got very good power. Adama, Macklin and Rosado have a good pop too.

Emmseegee, a poster in the British and Irish section, is favoring Canelo and has stated:
"GGG done the business again but im gonna have to admit that I fancy Canelo to beat him it happens. He is relying on his power too much and willing to sacrifice rounds to land the big shots. If Canelo could handle his power then Id fancy him to take it on the cards."
What do you think of that?

Canelo taking Gennady's bombs for 12 rounds ? Ridiculous. You can only last 12 with Gennady if you are a very fast and crafty runner with a great jab or a very fast and crafty grabber with a great jab (and a ref doesn't punish you for excessive clinching).

Andre Ward. He beats everyone on that list. Of those listed if I had to pick I guess I'd go with Jacobs, but I certainly don't think he'd win.

GGG by brutal ktfo over Cotto within 4 Rounds

I agree with Rubio, but he didn't hit once though, haha! Stevens? Not really. Yeah, he can knock out people with average chins, with his hook, similar to Andy Lee. But he's scored 20 KOs in 32 fights, thats not too special. Adama has fought absolute bums without chins, and IF he fought some known people (Davis, Geale, Brewer, Don George) it always went the distance. Rosado can't even hurt light-middleweights, and you HAVE to be kidding me about Macklin. Let him hit me 100 times, i can still stand on one leg.

I bet you will not get up even if Rod Salka hits you 100 times. Rosado didn't succeed at LMW, because he was draining himself too much. His power became much better at MW. He stopped Vera in BKB. Chavez couldn't accomplish that in 24 rounds.

According to little Ikey the only one who can beat GGG is God and in Ikey's opinion if God did win then it will be because HE had the judges in his pocket or he ran.
Ward will beat GGG worse than he beat Dawson, I saw GGG getting cracked by a featherfisted dude last night and had some swelling around his eyes, not to mention that he appeared winded. You can't go in a fight against Ward taking that much punishment because you know he won't allow you to fire back with his clinches, not to mention he is used to being a SMW and GGG isn't except when he cheats by rehydrating up to 170 or more pounds.
Now we wait for Ikey's response which is sure to be filled with BUTTHURTEDNESS and tears. Little Ikey, the floor is all yours bro.
