I'm not a Lennon fan; his voice is too bland for my liking and he doesn't add much to the atmosphere for me.
Despite the blunders I don't think anyone helps create a big fight feeling like Buffer does.

It may have been more for Saturday given that he announced 4 fights when he usually does one, and does the sum total of about 10 minutes talking...

Has quite a whining annoying voice does Lennon Jr.
To be frank, if either guy is getting paid that much, they are being chronically overpaid, I mean, there's countless voice actors could do that with a little bit of prep - it's money for old rope, and I'd expect people to get it right for that kind of money. Buffer has carved a pretty incredible niche for himself as 'Mr world title fight' so if he screws up, then he quite rightly should be criticised.
Yeah he's done well; he actually has a patent on the "Let's get Ready to Rumble" phrase too.

Remember when he f up the Sturm/Soliman decision,started announcing "and from Germany...".That Barker ones a corker.
That trademark was a very very shrewd move.the guy is coining it in 8)

I agree the recent b0)(nation interview with JL inr was thoroughly enjoyable as well
