I'd find Doc and get in that time travel machine and retire 7 years ago because he single handedly killed the heavyweight division for years. He's the most boring fighter in the history of the sport and he's held the damn belt hostage alienating the fans. So good riddance, Wlad.

Wladimir did not ruin the heavyweight it was the guys unable to beat him. It would have been cool if there was a fighter who could beat him, but after Brewster 10 years ago there wasn't one.

If wlad was not there there would have been more close fights but the quality of heavyweight would not be better.

I do think that his prime is over or nearing its end though and if he keeps going too long a lesser fighter will beat him like it happened to many other all time greats.

No he isn't, Mayweather is far more boring than Wlad - Wlad may be cautious, but he does actually go for the finish when the opportunity presents itself.

I'd not call him exciting, but he's definitely not the most boring.

totally disagree. floyd is never really boring
to watch for a boxing fan IMHO and he does
go for the kill if he can. with wlad you must
take into account too that he dominates his
opponents in physique ... pretty much every
time he enters the ring.
