Yes, it's true. Bruno also said in his latest book that he was acting up for the media with his Harry routine etc. What I'm saying is more that Frank's rapport with the media was original and entertaining, AJ's is much more rehearsed and obviously so. I also had the feeling with Bruno that his personality did come through more in his public appearances. Then again I was just a lad in Bruno's day whereas I'm older and cynical now, so it could be just my perception.

Bonecrusher knocked him down and completely out.
Witherspoon knocked him down by the ropes and they stopped the fight immediately; it was a knockout too, he was never going to get up.

But it was always at the very end of the fight and his stamina was his real achilles heel; he took a million punches from Tyson in their first fight before being stopped on his feet in the fifth.

Unfortunately, for Bruno, he is remembered more for his losses than his numerous wins.

But a number of Heavyweights have a similar fate. Duane Bobick is remembered best for his KO1 losses to Norton and John Tate. Marvis Frazier also for his KO1 losses to Holmes and Tyson. Jimmy Ellis is remembered for being KOd by Frazier and Shavers.

But Bruno, Marvis Frazier, Bobick, Ellis all had a lot of nice wins that fade from memory.

England has produced a number of first-class heavyweights in the last thirty-odd years: Frank Bruno, Tyson Fury, David Price, Audley Harrison, Herbie Hide, Horace Notice, Gary Mason, Sam Sexton, Carl Baker, Andrew Gerrard, David Beckham, Marty Feldman, the pantomime Prince of Wales, Benny Hill, etc. The list goes on and on. Anthony Joshua looks like another quality English heavyweight destined for great things.

Joshua recently said he may want to fight Wilder sooner than later since he has a belt. In my opinion, a mistake on his part, but do like the fight. I think Wilder stops him, and sets Joshua back to getting fights for experience. I just don't think he is ready for Wilder, but I could be wrong.

Some of them may be first class as human beings. I've given up trying to decipher levels of sarcasm on the Internet.

The only 2 names that may really spark things that you listed are Tyson Fury and Joshua. The former is certainly entertaining inside and outside the ring, and the later is still very promising.

I just never considered some of those names as 1st class.And a few I think are 3rd class

Bruno was jacked with them muscles but his defense sucked. Comparing This Joshua kid to him ain't a compliment to Joshua. When will Joshua fight on PBC or the new free shows in USA?
