you are dealing with that really weird boxing culture that is always a moment's notice away from calling any
hall of famer, champion, legit world contender, etc, a shot bum after a loss. no other sport does this.
the superbowl champs could struggle or lose to a non-playoff team and nobody says they are shot bums.
only in boxing can a multi-division titlist maul a legit contender like that and it's now all about shot bums.

Foreman beat Santos. Again, if Cotto wasn't #1 at junior middle at that time, I don't know who was.

You can look through anyone's record and say ''this guy was too old.... this guy was too young.... this guy got injured..... this guy was shot because he lost once....etc''.

Cotto was still a great fighter at junior middle, and he's still a great fighter now.
