In Spike's defence, they have improved.

They are sitting round and are sensibly discussing boxing. This is the problem before. Last time they discussed their favourite brand of beer, what best to eat with chips and laughed whilst waving a banana around.

This is a million times better.

NO shortage of guts and effort from Mansouri but for me he was second best almost throughout that contest .
Amazed a split decision and even more amazed it went his way !
I must be missing something ! :shame:

although Sheedy looked a bit slappy and some of the shots were behind Mansouri's head , he clearly won that fight

I've been bantering with Lauren Walker on Twitter.

Last night I had a beer and told her that was the best thing on Spike TV, as she was so fit. She favourited it.

Smooth. :OhYes:

Terrible decision, I thought Sheedy Was a clear winner,96-93,I hope Mansouri gives him a rematch,

Shame the result had to spoil a great fight

Don't think that's Nav's decision mate. I want to watch it back. I had Sam by two rounds from close up.
I'd like to see both lads out in September with different opponents on the same bill then build the rematch up - and by then hopefully Liam Smith has moved on and it can be for vacant British.

Taped it and just watched it, makes me hate boxing sometimes. What a stinker, gave the last 2 to Mansouri.

I get the "scraps" angle but what's with "fish and chips"?

I take it you didn't watch the Ross Burkinshaw fight? Lucky you.

The pundits were eating fish and chips, and drinking beer, whilst analysing the fight. That wasn't even the most cringe worthy thing that happened.

Luckily I'd had a few beers myself, or I'd be able to remember more about the night. If I live to be a hundred, I'll never see a sporting event coverage that embarrassing again.

 :TU: I did watch the Burkinshaw card but I seen it the next day on demand so I just skipped through the talking, which to be fair,I do whenever I watch a recorded show on any channel but I remember seeing the eating of chippy's and there was more than one occasion where I had to stop skipping it just to see WTF poor Jamie Moore was doing

Jamie seems like a real sound lad and a good laugh but I wonder if he gave Glenn a word of warning about Spike TV

I get the impression Glen wasn't having any of it. I mean, there was no chips on hand. Nobody was drinking on punditry. They seemed to a live crowd in again, but never stopped in for their opinions on anything. (Which usually just included them cheering on being asked if they liked something.)

At least the analysis was two people sat discussing the sport they had just watched. Not a bunch of random rugby players getting pissed.
