 Best you watch the Soliman vs Taylor fight and see what really happened
He looked horrible even before the injury in the Taylor fight honestly.

That's not what the judges thought. They had Soliman ahead until the injury.

Solimans style always looks terrible, it has since he started fighting, winkey wright said he'd never fight him again unless he was absolutely made too, he makes fighters look terrible

Did the judges actually say he looked great? He was facing a shot Taylor and looked horrible himself. Soliman did look better tonight, the knockdown call killed him...

I had Soliman edging that....

Same, as ugly as the fight was I thought Sam did enough, pretty obvious it wasn't a KD

Dom Wade blows. Apparently he's Lemiuex's mandatory now. Wade won't last 5 rounds.

do you even watch the fights you blab about? soliman was beating taylor handily before wrenching his
knee and fought the rest of the way hopping around on one leg.
Solimon was beating Taylor "handily" eh? Oh I watched it and he looked like crap from the opening bell. I don't look at things through the eyes of Fosters beer, mate. I bet on Sam that night and was shocked how much trouble he was having with Taylor BEFORE the injury.

Wade won but was not impressive.

Sam was up 4 rounds to 2 if I remember correctly in the first 6 rounds when fighting taylor

Can't blame the crowd for booing the result. Nothing quite like fighting in your own country with your own judges. At least the crowd were impartial.

No doubt about that and that's what makes Soliman such an awkward opponent. Try as he did Wade just couldn't work him out and Soliman just kept landing punches on him. Looking at the 3 American judge's scorecards if Soliman had knocked Wade out they ony would have awarded him a draw.

Its a good chance Aussie can go 0-2 this weekend
So 1-1 it was, and Iike many I had Soliman winning more comfortably than Zac Dunn. The Dunn vs Bursak fight could have gone either way.

It was interesting how the commentator said before the decision was announced, "Very close fight -- I think Zac is going to steal it."

I didn't think Soliman won. He made a good career for himself but is style is just unwatchable. Wade didn't do much but that called knockdown was the key

I agree that Wade didn't do much, and while Soliman was hard to watch as usual I thought he did more....not a terrible decision though.

Anyone like Wade against Lemieux?

Wade has no shot vs Lemieux. The Soliman-Wade fight tells me about Soliman not being on world level anymore than Wade being anything of note in the middleweight division. Soliman for sakes lost to the corpse of Jermain Taylor

The questionable knockdown in the 4th round provided Wade with 10-8 score for that round. But Soliman won nearly every other round. Reading the various accounts of the fight in the media and on the net most saw it the same way I did.

Wade to be a victim of Lemieux you mean? Yeah, he'll be lucky to last 4 rounds.

The was really no clear rounds either way. it was a close ugly uneventful fight. Anyone who has a big strife about the result is either a Soliman fan or Wade hater. To me neither deserve to win. Soliman style is terrible but Wade is nothing special.

I think they are going to the ibf due to the KD, not a good weekend for refs

There refs were not that bad. Those mistakes can happen to most ref's. Tony Weeks for what he allowed in the Broner-Porter now that should be address not these mistakes this weekend.

Sometimes a call on a knockdown can cost a fighter the win and that was the case in the Soliman vs Wade fight.

Soliman did enough throughout the fight that the call on the knockdown/slip shouldn't have been the deciding factor. But when you look at the actual score cards lodged, Soliman going down and it being scored a knockdown was the deciding factor. Remove the knockdown from the score cards and Soliman wins not Wade.

It wasn't guaranteed who was to win that round without the Knockdown. It may have cost Soliman a draw but again none of those where dominate or clear for either guy.
