On what are you basing this?
jamesmcdonnell wrote:They called him out when they knew they had very little chance of securing the fight - all the while watching to see if Wlad was slipping, whilst in fact Wlad looks about as unbeatable as he ever has. Now he is the mandatory - I bet the prospect doesn't feel quite so appetising.
Again I don't see any evidence for this claim.
jamesmcdonnell wrote:I will bet you that both Peter and Tyson deep down know that Fury has virtually no chance of beating Wlad - he isn't a legitimate threat, he can't punch, and he doesn't have anywhere near the technical nous to outbox Wlad. He will get pasted from beginning to end, and stopped.
I disagree strongly with this assessment and so are many others. Why do you think team Fury agrees with you. Just because you think he has no chance doesn't make it established fact.
It's my opinion, that's all, plain and simple.

If they do fight, I think he is going to get splattered. He's just not on the same level as Wlad, nowhere near.

I wish him the best of luck if they do fight, and if wins, I will eat my words, but that's how I see it.

Fury has no chance against Klitschko. Zero. Fact. You need a chin to beat Wlad b/c you have to walk through hell to land stuff. He cant walk through that hell. His chin blows.

Fury may have been down a few times in his career. But Klitschko has been down more in one
fight (peter).Than Fury has in his career. On record Klitschko has been down at least a dozen times in his career.
Including 3 knock out loses.
We can talk about Fury's chin all day but he has yet to be ko'd and has gotten up each time.

$36mil was sure a tidy sum. But that fight had a big build-up and expectation attached to it. If they did happen to meet again the reward wouldn't be anywhere near that I wouldn't think.

Oh please. That was Wlad TEN YEARS AGO. He doesn't fight like that anymore and you know it. Don't insult my intelligence with that crap.

Who has Fury actually faught? Feather fisted Chisora, twice, a man half his size.

He's crap, fat, a ducker, not much power and a glass jaw. He doesn't even deserve a title shot until he faces the likes of Pulev.
Dereck Chisora is a superior fighter to David Price and Alexander Ustinov.

Chisora is crap. He may be better in some aspects but styles make fights. Price and Ustinov both bring a significant threat to Fury. Chisora braught very little, his only shot was to outwork Fury. Amir Khan carefully selects fighters who can't punch but they may not exactly be inferior fighters. He took much better fighters than Breidis Prescott but he dared not have rematched him in a hurry because he would have got bombed out again.

Who was Fury dropped by? A light-hitting, longtime cruiserweight and a light-hitting heavyweight. Sure, Fury got up to beat Cunningham and Pajkic, but what was he doing on the canvas against those types of punchers in the first place?

Wlad hasn't been down in about a decade, but even when he was getting dropped it tended to be against fairly good punchers. He obviously doesn't have the best chin and Fury is probably capable of hurting him, but I think Wlad will be getting there first with big shots and I have serious doubts about Fury's ability to take them.

Haye might be on to something but I have no idea why Hugsko would be afraid of a shorter, fatter opponent.

How is Haye making any kinds of headlines right now? What a joke this guy is. I've never seen a guy talk so much trash without accomplishing a damn thing. He gets his shot with Klit and threw 2 punches a round and blamed a bad toe. lol. What a loser. Just go away.

If these Brits fought half as well as they talked, they might actually do well outside England. Most British fighters are just windbags. Sick of it.

Ducking is the first thing comes to his mind when facing a difficult opposition. He probably thinks all others are the same.

Actually, Wlad has never been knocked out (for a 10 count). The 3 losses were all TKO's.

He ducked Fury.

Claiming the man he ducked is a ducker is probably some sort of psychological salve to him.

What a pathetic mental midget Haye is.

Yes sir you are correct. But he was put on queer street all 3 times.

My point is not that Wlad has not improved. My point is that Fury has shown improvement also.
If Wlad can improve to the point that his china chin is not an issue.
What makes anyone think that Fury can not also make this improvement?
I just think Fury is the best contender available and Wlad should have his toughest fight in years.
Wlad will not be able to lean on and clinch as much against such a large opponent.
This fight should be entertaining and I look forward to it. :TU:

Haye didn't duck Fury, he was injured.

Fury ducked Price and wasn't injured.

Yeah, because the BBBofC allow people to fight, who have cuts.

I notice you overlooked Fury ducking Price.

I'm looking forward to the fight too - I hope it takes place in the U.K, but I doubt it.

Who cares what david haye thinks anyway? biggest joke around now, dodging fury for a whole year, putting on a terrible performance v wlad and blaming it on his toe. People saying who has fury fought? just look at David haye's heavyweight career, TERRIBLE, and fury will defo take the fight, he doesn’t care about boxing at all, he just wants the money
