Laughable stuff about the Fury camp being on it when it comes to strength and conditioning. I'll believe it when I see Fury looking in shape.

I'm not going to argue your first sentence because we'll get nowhere but what do you mean by "look in shape"? I hear people say that all the time and when push comes to shove what they mean is: nice six pack + shaved body hair + sun bed. For a naturally large guy in an unlimited weight division, carrying a mid teen body fat percentage is preferable to dropping into single digits.

Being in fighting shape is a lot different to being in aesthetically pleasing shape. I think Fury's conditioning has continuously improved from day one.

Pete's talking absolute bollocks of course ( wilder improving all the time ? even he admitted he looked terrible last time out..) they must seriously be wondering how the hell they got this title chance, One look at Tysons opponents, compared to Wlad and you realise they are in different universes, laughable really.
Fury's chin looks less than stellar and he hits like a feather duster compared to Klit, so Wlad has nothing to fear there - he's going to pole axe him inside 5 rounds. Complete mismatch.

Of course he is - everyone in the camp knows Fury has little chance of pulling off a win - but they can't broadcast that, they've got to sell tickets, and admitting Fury has a snowball's chance of winning isn't going to sell tickets.

Barring injury, Wlad smashes Fury to bits, unless Fury elects to run all night - which isn't impossible, fighting man aside, he wouldn't be the first to decide to survive - or at least try to survive, once they realise just how hopeless a task trying to win the fight is.

What experience doe Peter have as a trainer? Not a dig just a genuine question. Is he just a boxing fan who enjoyed a scrap and worked with his brother during his fighting days or has he worked alongside other trainers to get experience?

I don't see it as such a huge mismatch, not like you all. Actually Wlad was getting worked to the body badly by a pretty damn clumsy guy in his last fight, certainly looked easier to hit than i've seen him in years. It'll probably go Vlad's way because he's such a skilled operator but I do hope Fury finds a way to do some damage and prove he belonged in the ring on the night.

Do you think Fury hits hard enough?

Yeah he's boxed plenty, including beating Tony Thompson twice.

Thanks :TU: to be honest all his fights have morphed into one inside my brain except the Sanders one.

The Brewster fight was just plain weird, so was memorable for a different reason. The Sanders fight was an absolute hammering though, so always sticks out in my mind as the defining Wlad loss.

I think his volume is good enough, the power question is a tough one. It doesn't take a real heavy hitter to get Vladimirs attention, it does take good accuracy and regularity though. Thompson was making him uncomfortable in their first fight with his pressure, Tony was landing a bit Vlad isn't used to that. If Furycan avoid the right and find range yeah he can definitely hurt him. But it would be more likely accumulation than one shot.

The only way that a man who does that much training, can be so flabby, is to have a terrible diet - Fury himself has attested to his terrible eating habits, - that means he's not getting proper nutrition.

In a fight of this magnitude, in fact any fight, you want to be giving yourself every possible advantage.
