Is that so hard to understand? Boycott Floyd!

Both Rios and Algieri are no smaller than Berto.
The fact is that they had been fighting at 140, and had to move up to get the fight with Pac. I don't give a poo what weight they walk around at. Rios was having trouble making 135 so moved up. Yes, Algieri was taller than Manny...but was a 140 pounder that got a gift imo vs the one dimensional Provo. CA has no amateur experience either. Horrible fight, but its ok since it was Manny. Debate is good as long as it is based on the facts.
fact, their was better opposition available, fact this is a complete mismatch, fact pacquaio fighting rios and Algiers doesn't make this fight right, fact, everyone bagged pacquaio for those fights, even loyal fans, fact you guys are trying to defend Floyd, for the undefendable, fact if you can't be honest and bag Floyd for this then you hang off his testicles

As for Algieri, Floyd vs him is ten time better fight then Floyd vs Berto.

Floyd vs Berto would be horrible if it was PPV. Imagine them trying to do what Mosley/Mayorga II are planning to do, charging $49.95 PPV for that crap? They are doing it the same night as Mares/Santa Cruz, which is free. They will be lucky to get 20K buys.

boxing fights without commercials and around 5 - 15 $ ppv price, that would be normal.
commercials between rounds suck and 110 $ for a ppv hd fight suck also.

I suppose it would also be good if I got a percentage of PPV buys for every fight too, but I thought we were being realistic.

no commercials and only 15 $ dollar per ppv fight is realistic. 15 $ is fair for a good fight with 2 stars involving in it, 50 or 100 is just ridicoulus.
in germany i heard for example, they watched mayweather-canelo in good quality on live tv for free.

So say that PPV makes 1 million buys. That leaves 15 million dollars to pay everyone involved. So yeah, not so realistic.

The fight being horrible doesn't change whether it was PPV or free, still a horrible fight ,saying it's good for free is a cop out

Has anyone heard if Floyd has announced his next opponent yet? Nothing is for sure until he says it is.
Might save some bitching about it.

I've seen all his fights for free on TV in Sweden except the last one where they wanted like 100 bucks. I'd never pay to see Mayweather box.

what is weird to me is that there is no confirmation by Floyd. Makes me think that MAYBE he wont be fighting Berto. The p4p fighter in the world should be fighting the number 1 contender , not Berto who has 3 defeats in 6 outings. I wish it were Brook but Floyd wont fight a guy who isnt well known to casuals in US.
The whole waiting process on an OFFICIAL opponent is not only annoying me but making me lose almost all interest in tuning into this fight .... if he even fights Sept 12 which I am beginning to have my doubts

That is my feeling too, and why I put my comment about him announcing it, and it may save a lot of bitching. As of day before yesterday, even Berto did not confirm it. Everyone thinks TMZ knows all and is never wrong. Maybe they are right but people would be smart to wait until Floyd says it himself. He did his little bait and switch thing before.
I will add that since Brook and Rios is off, he could be the guy. It won't matter that he is unknown to the casuals if they put in on for free. He is unbeaten, beat Porter for the belt, and Floyd might just do it do get back at Khan for all the crap he has said about Floyd ducking him....or it could be Khan, who the hell knows.

You can't be serious. Light welterweight Algieri has one or two good wins in the pros, most recently exposed
badly by Pac, (120-102)! Knocked down 6 (six) times. Algieri has
NO amateur experience, and is learning on the fly, so to speak. Berto has had a couple of bad fights, but was a clear champion for two years. I'm not going to go in length promoting Berto because he frankly isn't a top opponent, but at least he is a welterweight. I have said he is not my preferred choice, but no matter who he chooses some bitches will come out and complain.
Not saying Berto is all that, but you saying CA is 10 times better fight makes you look
stupid.
Why don't some of you fornicating morons just scream "Why doesn't someone just beat Floyd!!!!!!!!" Why doesn't Floyd move up so he gets beat!!!!!!!! Someone, please someone, please beat Floyd!!!!!!!!!!!

What you flomo fckers dont understand is that there are some who doesn give a sht about Floyd, or whether he wins or looses. Even though I wrote it clearly I dont mind who he fight, this kunt cannot get over his bias that all everyone is thinking about is how to knock his idol.
I know your having hard on for Floyd dont let you think clearly but nevertheless I will explain your sorry ass why Algieri is 10 times better then Berto.
1. Algieri did beat highly ranked fighter, Provodnikov. Berto did not beat anyone in his pathetic and protected carrier. He lost every significant fight. Including to Guerrero and Ortiz, people Floyd already beat and to Karass that everybody already beat. None nowhere in the same area code of Pacquiao.
2. Algieri just had a very close fight against Khan, as a welterweight. Rocked him several times and probably should have got a decision. This is the same Khan who Floyd is ducking for years. This is the same Khan for whom all you Floyd bitches have million excuses. Ok then please enlighten me why your God is choosing this absolute garbage of a looser over Khan who is somewhat a better sort of looser. I am not even talking about Thurman who is his mandatory for fcking years.
3. Algieri is a tall rangy technician. Something Floyd has never fought. Stylewise its an interesting fight. Berto is another power puncher, with pretty average punching power at that. Fight is meaningless.
So relax bitch and stop whining. Stop defending Floyds cherrypicking ass, that makes you look like a right cocksucker.

I have zero faith that Floyd will put this fight on free TV. He could have made 2 billion with the Manny fight and still view the next fight as a money maker. You all laugh but this fight has got me intrigued. It's Floyd's last fight and clearly stated that he's taking an easy fight because why not, everyone else has. He's been eating cakes and pies and publicly fighting a woman through the media. Coming off banking the most money any athletes ever banked in one night, ALL SIGNS point to a letdown of some sort.
Berto may not be elite but he's got skills and who knows what's rattling around in Floyd's head. If Floyd takes this guy lightly, you never know what could happen. It's not like Berto is Malignaggi or something. He can bang and if a 39 year old guy takes him lightly, we could be in for something different here. Plus, the Marciano curse is real. Floyd would have been better served fighting a top tier guy that he could get up for. You heard it here...Berto wins.

Sure........Floyd has been ducking Khan.
Algieri has the style, size and skill Floyd is afraid of.
Berto has no good wins in his career.
I hope Floyd fights Brook, Thurman, or Bradley, but I know Floyd said he wants a tune up fight of sorts for his 50th. If he fought and beat one of the 3 they would suddenly become shot, over-rated, or too green.
I am convinced very few will be satisfied unless Floyd gives up 20 or 30lbs to fight GGG or even Ward.
Say what you want, but how many boxers can you name in history that were #1 pfp at 38-39 yrs old? Floyd has earned the right to fight whoever he wants. Cry me a river.

You really amaze me, if there is a good opponent the first thing you guys spruik is that he hasn't earnt a fight with floyd, how has Berto earnt this fight, and then there is floyd has earnt himself an easy fight, why has he, the self proclaimed best ever has been paid better than any other boxer in history, TBE should be fighting the best opponent available, stop using his age, winning record as a reason to excuse this if it happens, if he's too old then retire, there is no handicapping system in boxing, just nuthugger fans

dont bother yourself explaining him something. one thing floyd and his fans have in common is that both parts are dumb. they have proving it time after time.
