Haumono seemed to be transfixed with fighting Lucas Browne and seems to have wasted a lot on time on that when he could have got a fight or two in instead.

Solomon Haumono beat Hunter Sam over 10 rounds to take interim PABA heavyweight title. Soloman moves to 23-2-2

He wants to fight Browne. Is he even ranked with any orgs? I honestly thought Sol had retired. He has wasted his career he could of been so much more.

Go to the Boxrec main page, You will see RATINGS. Click on the ratings tab, then click on Australia. Click on heavyweight.
It will display the following:
1. Browne.
2. Meehan
3. Leapai.
4. HAUMONO.
Wether he deserves that ranking is debateable, all i was doing was answering a posters question.
Anything else i can help you with just ask.

Our (Boxrec) computerized ratings is no different to that of ANBF
http://www.anbf.org/ratings.php?a=viewratings&iID=70 and IMO is OK
Haumono is now PABA interim champ to Joseph Parker. If Parker goes ahead defending or not remains to be seen.....if not I'll spit the story for ya. :P

I thought it would be the Aussie rankings be was referring to, and the 4th ranked Aussie heavyweight is hardly anything to get excited about. If Browne were to lose to Chagaev it would be reassessment time, but as things stand the 4th ranked Aussie heavyweight will be of no interest whatsoever to him.

It shows how thin on the ground is the local heavy-weight scene, when Kali Meehan is shown as #2 but has hung up the gloves, and the ubiquitous Mark de Mori comes in at #5.

Hunter Sam was rushed to hospital after the bout with Haumono with what was described as "a shattered jaw."
Hopefully he is on the mend.
