If Ogogo stays injury free he has a chance.

This is the best I can remember for British boxing.
I can't remember the last time we had so many good flyweights.
Tbh , I think British Boxing in general is as good as I can remember
I think you are both getting a bit carried away with those statements.
Undoubtedly there is a lot of potential on the list, we can hope it transpires into many world champions but until it does, it remains to be seen.
Really, when put into perspective, we have no real flag bearer/s right now. Froch was the last stand out name. Who is putting Britain on the map today? DeGale, Brook & Khan are all that remain in terms of worldwide name recognition, and they are hardly lighting up the sport for us, not yet anyway.

Hello Scotland's still in the UK thank goodness.I could argue that Scott Cardle is really Scottish, but nobody else worth mentioning? I'll through in a name - Mike Towell. 12 months from now he'll be on every list.

To be fair Dean my boy Joe Costello had only 5 fights & Jamie Cox just back but definitely ready to make his mark I think the points system is much fairer way of doing things & it shows people like Matt Hamilton for who they are.

When is Joe next out? I hope he has a busy season - think he can go far if he is kept busy and lives the right lifestyle

good grief, I just looked up Bradley Saunders. That DQ last week went right under my radar. I wondered what he was up to. First fight in 6 months and only 2nd this year.
He's 29 and he's now had 13 fights. I thought he was younger than that. I was about to suggest I think he should be a lot further up that list! But progress would appear somewhat slow..

Two fighters on your list are actually fighting each other this weekend, Corcoron and Skelton. As I said in a different thread, this very decent fight seems to have been completely under promoted. Shame for all concerned.

The only Irishman who would have made the list is Jono Carroll, who would have been ranked 24 on this list. Quigley doesn't yet have a high enough rating.

Heavyweight Nick Webb not mentioned? He's currently 5-0 with all wins in the 1st round.

All based off Boxrec ratings, taking the subjectiveness out of it.

They used to say the same thing about Ken Dodd.
Last I heard Saunders hand injuries were seriously threatening his career, which is a shame.

He's had a impressive last 3 fights.
Deserves a crack at the British or commonwealth soon.

Corcoran is improving on a daily basis, the lads a pleasure to train. Totally took Butler by surprise using a Jab & movement. Great run, Goddings 21-0-1, Skelton 13-0 then Butler who hadn't lost in 5 years. I think those wins are as good as if not better than anyone else domestically at the weight. Looking forward to see what's next

Would love to see Corcoran v Williams for the British. Has all the ingredients of a classic British title scrap!

That'd be a cracking fight. Be good to see just how good Williams is, untested so far opponent wise really, looks a cracking prospect.
