He doesn't get many gifts, the ref he wants that lets him hold on for dear life, opposition has to use floyd approved gloves, now he is going to give his opponent 4 weeks notice of the fight, he is TBE diva

Nobody is forcing anyone to fight Floyd, if they don't like the terms, they can say no.
Floyd by now has earned the right to dictate terms, Wlad K does the same, wouldn't you give yourself every possible advantage in a fight, if you had the upper hand in negotiations - I know I would. Floyd for what it is worth, does not hold on for dear life, that's just not true.

clinched 36 times in the maidana fight in the first 5 rounds, the proof is in the pudding, the gloves are approved by nevada commission, not floyd, he threw a tantrum over maidanas gloves to the point where he was going to refuse to fight, he tried to get pacquaios gloves changed but it was too late, pacquaio had too big a following for floyd to chuck a whammy and refuse to fight, he knew he would have had his arse sued off

Oh Christ, spare us. Not another one of your tedious countups.
As I said before - nobody is forcing anyone to fight Floyd - end of. If you run your finger round the rim of the toilet, don't be surprised when it comes up smelling of shite.

I am fine with Berto as long as it is on free tv. And I don't want to hear about what a farce it is from the same folks who had no problems with other top guys taking gimme fights. If anyone has earned a walkover, it's Floyd.

Floyd just announced on facebook that he is fighting Sept 12 2015. I honestly thought he was going to pull out.
I expect an opponent announcement very soon.
I just hope its either Khan, Porter, Brook. Otherwise a young LION!!!!!!!

I know, it's crazy - I mean, does Floyd have to fight the best available challenger ever single time he fights? Nobody bloody else does.

As long as he insists that he's the best ever he does.

But nobody else is the best pound for pound fighter in the world and self proclaimed "The Best Ever"

If you call yourself TBE and are considered the #1 P4P fighter in the world then yes you should. Fighters of this caliber are always held to a higher standard and rightly so. This is Floyd Mayweather Jr. we are talking about not Deontay Wilder.

Well he isn't always fighting the best available opposition so that is that.

so Ali fought the best available opposition every single fight did he, or Ray Robinson, or Louis.
You're delusional if you think there's a fighter that lived in the history of the sport who only ever fought the best.

Typical whinging Pom, you say floyd doesn't hold for dear life, I give you an example and you have no reply, ooohhh if you don't like his manipulation don't fight him ooohhhh, get serious Turkey, he has belts, I don't want to run my finger around inside your mouth where the verbal diarrhoea is made, so do you find 36 clinches in 5 round acceptable, that should be an easy question to answer, a simple yes or no but knowing what your like you will start to hurl abuse and say your putting me on ignore, just like you did last time when I asked you to answer a question that would have made you acknowledge you were wrong

Neither will I. I will not pay a coin for this. It is questionable if I will even spring for a plate of wings to see it.
Everyone knows I am a huge Mayweather fan but I can't cosign this bullshit. It was crap when Pac fought an undeserving Algieri and it is crap now.
He made 300 million his last fight! WTF does he need to bilk fans out of more money for?
This should have been a free fight, a PBC fight.

Every report I have seen says Showtime PPV.
And that's a frigging joke.
There isn't much that could have helped his legacy more than for him to take a paycut in order to make this happen for free tv.
Hype it right and you are a hero with an enduring farewell to the fans, one that might actually get you the endorsements that largely eluded you your whole career.
Instead, we have a fight that won't be close even if Floyd trains on nothing but snickers and mountain dew for 6 weeks.
