Knocked out Sprott in 1 in the final of a Super 8 tournament and beat up Shane Cameron badly

Not huge wins, but he was in shape and still looks solid and crafty
Says Duco have given him a lot of time to prepare

Meehan had a good 2014 and has aged well, but I suspect he gets taken out by the middle rounds here.

That said, Parker has shown defensive holes and was hurt by the very crude Nasicmento, so maybe Kali will have some moments.

To preempt you based on the above eloquent response, which you gave me on another forum, there are obviously factors to consider that make it more or less likely though. Some HW clubfighter with a 3-12 (0) record may be able to catch and hurt people like Povetkin or Wlad, but obviously it's a very small possibility.

However, considering who Parker was hurt by and who has been able to land good shots on him, I wouldn't be surprised if someone of Meehan's level was able to have bright spots too rather than being mowed over without success to speak of.

Kali Meehan's son Willis will be fighting on the Parker vs Kali Meehan undercard.

Here's hoping Parker wins but Meehan gives him rounds to work on things. At some point Parker needs to leave the friendly confines of home and invade the USA or Europe.

When Povetkin was 23, he was still 2 years away from fighting his first professional bum. Minto and Meehan are not bums, Parker is fighting gatekeepers.
:OhYes:
An Aussie 10-0 isn't quite the same as a British 10-0.
Normally you're right, but in Parker his case you certainly aren't.
The 10-0 of Tyson Fury, as well as Hughie Fury, as well as Chisora, Cornish, Sprott, soon coming Kash Ali, and so on and on and on were a lot less impressive as Parker his 10-0 was.

Anthony Joshua is the only one that can say he has similar level of opponends during the first 10 matches and he's the only one who beated them in a shorter time as Joseph Parker did.

I believe Parker is planning to head over to the US by mid 2016.
