I think Frampton suffered from being abroad...looking past his opponent...getting floored twice and consequently trying a little too hard, forcing his work. Quigg on the other hand looked like a rabbit in the headlights for the first round, completely out of his depth. Then he turned it around with a fantastic piece of skill. Very impressive.

It's not irrelevant at all. Frampton doesn't see Quigg as a world champion so will want a 60/40 split.
If Quigg was WBA super champion Frampton might fancy unifying the division.

I think only one of them is easy to make.

Frampton v Quigg - Apparently according to McGuigan Carl is moving up to featherweight & is not on Framptons radar anyway.
Brook v Khan - It appears that Khan doesnt want this fight or is being offered too little money as Hearn has said they have had talks but seemingly Khan not interested.
DeGale v Groves - Sauerland have put Groves on some Matchroom cards so it looks like they have a good working relationship with Matchroom so could be one down the road depending how Groves does against Jack.
Flanagan v Campbell - Not going to happen as they are from different stables that dont deal with each other unless they really have to. IMO Campbell will be steered in a completely different direction than Terry.

Munroe wasn't world class at his best and was well past it by the time he fought Quigg, that's like saying Frampton beating Molitor was a win at world level.

This has to happen this year. Everyone should just put their egos to one side and get it sorted. The fans want it, by all accounts both fighters want it, Hearn wants it (not sure about McGuigan) and everyone will make a good bit of money from it. I wouldnt read too much into Quiggs victory over Martinez. We all know that doesn't really mean anything on the grand scale of things. I'm sure if Carl fought Salinas (who gave Quigg fits) he would annihilate him without too much of a problem. Means nothing.

Yeah you can't just discredit beating Kiko in 2 rounds. I'd say it means a hell of a lot. it basically means Quigg is for real.

It was Quiggs biggest win and it was a fine performance. I meant it means nothing in terms of who's better out of Quigg and Frampton. Just because Quigg does a better job doesn't mean he beats Frampton. Not taking anything away from Quigg at all.

Yeah I agree I've just worded it wrong. I meant when it comes to who's better out of Frampton and Quigg. Beating Martinez was an excellent performance but it doesn't automatically mean he'll do Frampton because he done a better job on Kiko.

Beating Martinez easier than Frampton did doesn't mean he will beat Frampton, but it does make that possibility seem a lot more likely than it did before he destroyed Martinez.

The win meant a fair bit for Quigg and the division. Quigg is a lot more credible now.

Quiggs performance did put a bit of doubt in my mind at first to be fair but I still think Frampton beats him. It's a fight that has to happen and soon. Doesn't look as if it's going to be this year as Frampton has to fight Wake i think and it looks as if Quigg will be fighting Donaire.

I see Quigg is over the Wild Card again, working the pads with Roach and looking very good.

Scott takes his training very seriously and has funded a few Wild Card trips out of his own savings over the years I read.
