Promoter Peter Maniatis said he is expecting a near 9,000 sell-out crowd at Hisense Arena tonight.

They both look in good shape. Bolonti did fight only a matter of weeks ago.

He weighed in lighter by about 5 pounds and the difference is noticeable.

BoxRec has Green listed as 6ft 1 and Bolonti 5ft 11. But in the pictures I've seen so far - including the one directly above - Bolonti appears to be taller. Perhaps he's wearing heals?

I like it when fighters dont have to cut weight . At least you know they are going in there with a full tank.

If green is even 75% of what he used to be he will eat this guy. After 3 years off though who knows he could be in for a rough night. He aint young

As we know, Green hasn't fought since late 2012. In that time Bolonti has fought 8 times, losing only once to Juergen Braehmar for the WBA title.

Green will want to dispose of Bolonti at his earliest opportunity because he's never been stopped, and the longer the fight goes the more chance Bolonti has of wearing Green down and causing an upset.

We have all seen enough boxing comebacks to know they usually backfire, and at 42 they are rarely anything but a really bad idea. I wouldn't be at all surprised if we see an obviously over the hill Green really struggle tonight and would not totally discount an upset.

I've seen so many comebacks end in disappointment I can't help feeling this might be another one. Whether it be tonight, or not too far down the track.

Bolonti has absolutely nothing to lose and that makes for a dangerous opponent. He will be aggressive from the 1st bell because that is how he fights and his 36-3 record says it works pretty well for him.

Even if Green loses in the ring, he could get a "Tomlinson" decision....
Aussie judging is on notice

Ben Damon from Main Event Television says tonight's fights will be watched by an estimated 40 million people in China alone because their youth champion Yang Xin Xing is in the main support.

Really? Hope nothing untoward happens(bad judging). This guy is fighting 12lbs higher than what he's ever fought before that's probably why Green looks more ripped than Roberto.

So far you have claimed Bolonti will probably take a dive. That Green will likely carry him the full 12 rounds and now you are barracking for Bolonti.

Did I leave anything out? You sure didn't

I would assume a boxing event would be on a cable provider back in China.... right??

Interesting fact:
Mainland China had more than 44.5 million digital cable television users in 2008.

Now lets assume 7 years later a generous increase to 50% meaning about 90million now with cable. Is Ben Damon trying to tell us that 4 in 9 people with cable are watching a chinese youth boxer and not even a legit world champion getting this sort of viewers.

People tend to go overboard with China and throw out ridiculous numbers

TURN IT UP :DD

Yep my negativity is based on Green buying wins hope Bolonti proves me wrong and I wake up tomorrow morning and Green is crying again and retiring after another chat to god.

Green buying wins? Who are you claiming he bought wins against and what proof have you got to offer other than that you have an insatiable hate for Green?

History mate look Bolonti fighting 12lbs above his normal weight,BJ Flores fighting at his lowest weight and given ''incentives'' never getting out of 2nd gear,Briggs and the list goes on. You think Green is coming back to lose? C'MON,but as I said I hope I wake up tomorrow and am wrong. :TU:

Look bw Team Green are not flying in a Argentinian, fighting 6kg above his weight class a week out from the fight for no reason. They could quite easily have got an Australian substitute at a reasonable price who won't be jet lagged. As I said I hope I am wrong and all the people paying to watch the fight live or on PPV get there moneys worth.
But look the undercard is ordinary, the main event is ordinary and on the day of the fight who is mentioned ad nauseum in the press?

They had already booked a 10,500 seat stadium and sold tickets on the basis Green was fighting an international opponent.
