I must say, I do miss writing about boxing - I really got a lot of joy out of it - if only it could have been something I could have made an actual living from, I'd have stuck to it. Every now and then I toy with the idea of penning an article, before I realise that I wouldn't really know where to start and that I don't really follow boxing like I used to.

I did a few articles for the news site and covered a show. I really enjoyed it, Frank Maloney even complemented me on my writing, but I just didn't have the time to fit it in, so I stopped doing it. Shame really.

It has its ups and downs. I quit for a few months last year with the intention of knocking it quietly on its head. I did Glyn’s obituary for BS then arranged Billy’s column for BM and that got me back into it. I did miss it, although I didn’t miss late night calls (usually on a Friday if it was a story) and the aggravation that comes with it, so probably would have taken it up again at some point to add a bit of a drama to my quite work life.
Yeah, maybe I'll try and do an opinion piece and sumbit it - no idea what BM's policy is like, but I'll only submit something I think is worthy of submitting, I've got a very nice idea for a piece in the run up to the Klitchsko v Fury fight.

He still posts on the other forum, although there's not much traffic on there at the moment.

I co-founded a panel on FB. Most of then are absolutely terrible, though. It's a laugh, really. If you discuss boxing on there, or Twitter, you're just going to get daft comments.
