Bit embarrassing seeing Hibbert and his team celebrating the way they did after a fluke of a victory like that.
Wish Ryan a speedy recovery.

Hibbert was very happy with the win though I imagine when he watches the bout today hell see how he was outboxed, outfought and, really, outclassed. If it wasn't for the fluke injury it would have been an achievement for Hibbert to last the distance.

Ryan mentioned in last months BM that there was more to him than just pressure fighting and i never believed it until last night,he always looked in control,it wasnt a masterclass because he wasnt always landing but he always looked in control until about the 7th when Hibbert finally started letting his hands go,i wasnt fussed about this 3rd fight but there needs to be a 4th now,its only fair

Dave Ryan deserves his shot at the British too

Exactly what I thought. Casual fans would have had plenty to say about that

Personally I say Ryan should get the winner of the Nurse-Edwards fight.

I wonder who's going to be the first challenge for Catterall.
In Hibbert Matchroom have the commonwealth and they have nurse aswell.

Hibbert made me cringe with his celebrations. He didn't seem to fancy giving Ryan a rematch which is strange as Ryan let him have two.

Feel sorry for both fighters really. Ryan was having it all his own way and was only a few rounds away from winning by a wide points margin. Wayne thought he was coming on strong ( Something i didnt see personally still thought Ryan was well in control) at the time of the injury. Now everyone who saw the fight knows Wayne was losing and that will leave a bad taste in most peoples mouth even though it is no fault of waynes whatsoever, what was he meant to do. Hope Ryan gets better asap and gets his chance again.

I like ol' Johnny boy though. If anyone in the game gets a touch I'm glad it was him. "he ain't getting no rematch. He can do one!" - That cracked me up :OhYes:

I like how he comes across and he was going and honest in the post bout interview but he did act as though he'd won the bout emphatically, he was very lucky and Dave Ryan was very unlucky. If I were Hibbert I wouldn't want another bout v Ryan either.
