Floyd is definitely the best pure boxer that I've witnessed. It's amazing to me that in 48 fights, no one has gotten lucky and gotten through. Sugar Shane nailed him good early in that fight and buckled him twice. Maidana clipped him good in the second fight at the bell in an early round in that fight. Zab should have gotten credit for a knock down as well but that was a messy affair. You don't hear much about Floyd's chin but it's got to be good. When Floyd settles in to box, no one can touch him unfortunately. I have to admit that. Though it does help him that Bayless doesn't allow anyone to fight inside and make a messy fight of it.

The Mosley fight is a real 'what if' fight. As in, what if Mosley was in his prime? My money would have been on Sugar.

With his physical advantages, has Wlad ever been out-boxed? Or out-boxed in the last ten years?

You can't outbox a guy who has his tentacles wrapped around you.

Immediate stand out Bernard Hopkins.

Will o' the Wisp, Willie Pep. Before his plane crash Pep was about as good a boxer as you could wish to see. Someone wrote down Sandy Saddler but Saddler used his physicality to beat Pep. The one time Pep beat Saddler he out boxed him.

Roy Jones Jr. out boxed him, but yeah Bernard was definitely hard to out box earlier in his career.

I would also include Thomas Hearns. No one out boxed him in his prime. Hearns was completely out boxing Leonard till he got stopped in the last round and the losses to Hagler and Barkley were a case of him being overwhelmed by strength not boxing ability.

Saddler did Pep a few times. The first 2 I'd class as when pep wasn't in decline.
I always thought Saddler was a better fighter than Pep. But because Pep was so popular and Saddler beat him, pep got classed as being in decline whilst Saddler didn't get the credit he deserved.

He beat him 3 out of 4 times but he beat him with his strength and physicality not by out boxing him. Those fights were all extremely dirty and tough affairs.

Yes, I don't think we'll ever see him outwitted or out manoeuvred, Floyd is a master boxer.

Don Curry was a beautiful boxer, so well balanced and poised.
One thing that should be remembered is Floyd has never fought a boxer like Curry.

Who are the best "boxers" Floyd has defeated? A washed-up Oscar and a blown-up Marquez? Judah was actually outboxing him; Floyd got the upper hand when he decided to walk Judah down.

We are talking about Sugar Ray Leonard here, the guy has better boxing skills (in my opinion) than floyd mayweather who is regarded the best defensive fighter of all time (Whitaker is better in my opinion again) and he still coudnt outbox Hagler.

He adapted his entire style because if his hand injurys.
I remember the Eubank fight he was considered as just a banger.
He adapted and become one of the best British boxers of all time.
Without the hand injuries it would be interesting to see if he would of changed his style.
His hand injurys could of proved more help than hinderance
