few people care anymore, and few people read any articles on him.

some people though take note, word for word of what he says and still get sucked in each and every time, lol.

I notice on the Mundine vs Hatley card the name Craig Vitale.

Have to wonder out loud if he is related to Michael Vitale who fought some very tough nuts back in the early 1970's?

Anyone??

Anton??

This thread is about Mundine-Hatley mate. after a year off maybe Hatley's not a bad opponent but it hardly gets him anywhere and he is 40. Green has always lived off Mundines name but that doesn't change the fact it's a poor card and an average main event(unlike the Rabchenko card/fight).

So it is okay for you to say negative things about Mundine but when it comes to any other Aussie fighter everybody must keep it positive?

Paul Kent wrote this in Today's Tele:
A ROUGH WEEK FOR

THE boxing industry ran rife with rumours during the week that my old sparring partner Anthony Mundine, figuratively speaking, was knocked out Thursday in a spar. This is bad news on many fronts for Mundine, who fights Charles Hatley in Melbourne next month. Tickets are already slow, although Mick Gatto has reportedly done a smashing job selling out the tables.

The other concern for Mundine, for those that understand boxing, is that he was moving with a middleweight wearing 16oz gloves. As Mundine and Danny Green circle each other for one final payday, it’s an ominous sign, as the bigger, heavier punching Green will not be wearing anything like 16oz gloves when they finally get in the ring.

This fight is getting very little press. You could be forgiven for not even knowing it was on. On the positive side, at least Kent's article might help sell some tickets and get people talking about the fight.

Tim Hunt vs Darren Askew has been removed from the card. Askew pulled out with a wrist injury and claims his heart is no longer in boxing and he'll retire.

10 bouts listed on the card but 2 are against that mighty man of boxing: TBA at this late stage.

The question is how many of the 10 or 8 bouts will Main Event actually televise live, as we have been short-changed in the past by Main Event omitting some bouts in their coverages.
