Yes, and he was looking tense from the opening bell in my opinion. It will be interesting to see how he performs from this point...

Groves does look knackered and Jack is digging in some good ones to the body.

The bookies have Jack a big fave now in play. Worth pointing out that going into the last in McDermott v Fury I, a fight you'd gag to be blind to have Fury winning, the bookies had McDermott a big underdog. Always made me wonder if the bookies know something about e don't with these things.

Got it to Groves by a point, don't think he's done enough to get the win on the road though.

You can usually tell with how the scoring is if there's a kd. Very few judges in the USA give even rounds it seems so when I heard 116-111 we all knew. Similar with the first McDonnell Kameda fight given it was 114-113 on all cards.

Only one fighter was getting a 116-111 in their favour, which is a pretty poor scorecard tbh.

'I don't think the knockdown helped him.'
With insight like that there's a job in politics for him somewhere.

Fair scoring a lot of swing rounds and I personally preferred jacks work in a lot of the close rounds.
De gale would have beaten jack imo.
