Sure you didn't. Mayweather was initiating clinches, as he always does, with complete impunity.
Berto was holding every bit as much as far as I can see. There was lots of ugly clinching going on initiated by both men.

As far as I can see, NOBODY these days seems to get warned or points deducted for excessive holding - unless it is so flagrant that they are clinging on like an octopus. The last time I remember anyone getting DQ'd for excessive holding was Henry Akinwande against Lennox Lewis, and he really was like a horny octopus.

It's just not an infringement which seems to get punished these days.

Chris John Ruiz made an entire career out of it.

You can try and say I'm bias if you like, but it's not true - Mayweather bores me to tears, I'll be glad to see the back of him, but I'm not going to cry conspiracy where I see none.
The weekend after Floyd/Pac there was pretty clear damnation in the media and among fans about Floyd's holding and Bayless being inept. The following weekend on a PBC card, Ricky Burns was deducted not once, but twice, for clinching. It cost him the fight.

Khan lost a world title to Peterson on the basis of the ref deducting him for pushing. Sure Khan ain't as subtle as Floyd but when did Floyd ever get a warning for that constant forearm use? I've heard numerous trainers request the ref watch out for it in the locker room pre-fight but nothing is ever done about.

Look at this:

Look at Kenny Bayless  , casually observing Floyd rub his wrist into Berto's face to blindly set up an uppercut.

--- I suggest you get one of your little buddies to review Manny's record here which includes his last 8 fights and get back to you with the results.

Of course there's the possibility than any factual content passing through your noggin may be reduced to silly putty, but the record is clear for those with intact mental faculties:

Maybe it's 6 of his last 8 then, my point is, that Bayless gets a huge amount of gigs in Nevada, as does Weeks.

He has also refereed over 50% of Pacquaio's fights.

The judges are regulated by the Nevada commission, they get LOTS of big fights. There aren't that many referees out there full stop.
Moretti has worked 11 out of Floyd's last 15 fights. You don't find that odd? Moretti is from NJ so it's not a Las Vegas thing. It just smells like several other unfair advantages Floyd gets continuously and he'll never be TBE because of them.

I'm pretty happy about not having to watch any more of Floyd's hugfests.

Out of Floyd's last 12 fights Bayless has reffed 50% of them, and 100% of his last 3 fights.

And a word for Dave Moretti, sitting in judgement of Floyd's 5th... yes, fifth, straight fight in a row, (including the Maidana robbery and subsequent rematch  ).

With Floyd now retiring, do Bayless & Moretti become free agents? Or do you think it's Showtime they are contracted to?
