Of course money matters. Golovkin's team has been saying that he will go up or down FOR A BIG MONEY FIGHT. Unpopular Ward doesn't qualify.

Also, only an idiot can't understand that situation changes. What a person would do 5 or even 2 years ago, he wouldn't do now. Golovkin wanted Ward fight two years ago, but Ward didn't want it. Now it is vice versa. It will likely change in 18 months: Golovkin will be available, but Ward will find reasons to duck.

Own words in a language he doesn't understand well ? Of course, they can't be fully accepted. I've heard a lot of his interviews, and he clearly doesn't understand A LOT and can't express what he wants to say A LOT.

Ward pointed out in an interview with the same folks about a week or so after that this is what GGG does.
In 2013, they said he'd be ready the next year, last year they said they could see a fight in 2015, just last month they say 2017.

Didn't he say that they want 50-50 in weight too.

Regrading the pattern, the one I see is GGG steadily becomes more popular and Ward steadily slides into obscurity. If Ward wants better conditions and sooner dates, he needs to revive himself.

Yeah, he did say 50/50 on the weight. I said as much upthread.

But, we know weight is not the reason for this last duck since Lil' g and his peeps say the fight in 2017 will be at 168 AND they have talked about fights at 168 with others like Chavez Jr and Froch.

You are also right about the popularity and Ward's promotional problems making him less visible.

Not disputing that at all.

But, the one thing that wont shake loose is Lil' g asking for the fight over and over again, (even as recently as July), then turning it down for whatever reason, also over and over again.

That's called ducking.
