I'd have Yamanaka above Lara
So would I, I was taking the piss in reference to his top ten thread.
yamanaka would never in a p4p sense beat somebody like canelo and paul williams, he struggled and some say lost to a b level guy like moreno. lara beat canelo and williams and is technicly miles better than yamanaka....

He didn't beat Canelo, you seem to have a real hard time getting that. You liking to think he did does not=he won.
Notice that I'm not addressing Williams, because I think he did beat him, and that's the majority view I believe. But he didn't beat Canelo.

if that is so, that whoever doesnt do enough to win in close fights and runs to much, than floyd lost to castillo, maidana and pacquiao
Re: Yamanaka and the pound for pound list
What the fvck kind of non-sequitir is that? Lara lost to Canelo because he didn't land as many effective shots, particularly to the body, Canelo was way more effective.
It has nothing to do with styles, or any other fighter, he just lost.

I thought Lara deserved at least a draw against Canelo, and against Williams he was robbed in shocking fashion. Plus Lara dominated Trout. Who is Yamanaka's signature win? A 36 year old Darchinyan? Rojas? Tunacao? These are decent fighters but not the resume of a P4P guy.
