Martin Murray Vs King Arthur Abraham

How does everyone see this one going? Been made for Nov 21st.
Abraham to absorb for 2mins 30 then unleash during last 30 seconds to Nick a points win, or can Oliver Harrison devise a game plan to win the fight?
You'd think Murray would need a KO or complete domination to get the nod on points looking at the Smith scorecards, but Murray is a better fighter than Smith who pushed the King hard, no?

It's a hard fight to call because we haven't seen enough of Murray at smw. Murray looks more powerful but the opponents have been week.
If I took it from just what I've seen from Murray at middle of expect AA to win by points or late stoppage.
Having said that AA struggled with Paul smith who is a brave fighter (miles short of world class) but ultimately got destroyed by groves, degale and ward.

I think it'll be a typical Abraham fight. Gloves up, walk forward, block punches. Nothing spectacular but enough to win fairly close rounds. He's effective and knows how to do enough to win despite not being elite. He's definitely beatable, but unfortunately I don't think Murray has the skills of a Ward, Dirrell or Froch to pick him apart. Murray is probably a bit too similar to Abraham and unless Arthur has an off night like the first Smith fight, I'm predicting Abraham to win about 116-112 on the cards.

I think AA will win on points by a couple of rounds, seems like the first paul smith fight made him think twice about being lazy for the whole fight, hes been looking a lot better in the last few fights.

He's not knocking Abraham out and he won't get a decision.
This pretty much. For Murray to get the nod, he'd have to really dominate Abraham which I can't see him doing.
Abraham will tuck up and fight in short eye catching bursts, some which are effective but others not so much. But the judges will give him all these rounds anyway.

Just bye and bye: The WBO has ordered that the winner of Abraham vs Murray must make a mandatory defense against Gilberto Ramirez of Mexico.

Ramirez name has been kicking around for years and it's about time we saw what he's got.
He's only beaten taxi drivers apart from Derek Edwards (more a bin man supervisor) and also Jaime Barboza who Brian Magee travelled to Costa Rica (?) to fight a few years ago.
Ramirez is 24 years old, not really travelled and will probably fall apart when his shot comes.

Agree with this, looking forward to seeing what Ramirez is about. He was in the rumour mill for Degale wasn't he? Good record but as you rightly point out, that means squat.

His next opponent was very game against Degale a couple of years ago should be a good marker at this point though I would put him at a similar level to Callum Smith.

The blueprint to beat Abraham has been followed by Froch, but can Murray adjust his style to just outbox Abraham from the outside?
I'm not sure he can, he needs to get his jab through that high guard and put Abraham off balance and not let him get set for that last minute surge in the rounds.
