I can't for the life of me see Groves fighting at domestic level again.

Probably a couple of overseas fighters brought in with rankings available.

I feel a bit of time away from the UK would do Groves good. As someone earlier in the thread mentioned, he has trained a few times at Big Bear and Abel Sanchez may be a good choice as his next trainer. That coupled with the fact that he'd get regular sparring with GGG could only bring him on in my view.

I always felt that the set up with Paddy Fitzpatrick was an odd one. He's a decent trainer but not world class and I agree that his advice in the corner for the Jack fight was questionable.

I think you're right that groves wanted to be like eubanks sr was with Ronnie Davis just someone to hold the pads and bucket rather than a teacher

Possibly but any young fighter who hasn't fully developed is very naïve to think that they don't need a trainer who can give them good advice at crisis moments during a fight. Given Chris Eubank Jnr's tendency to ignore Ronnie Davies it'll be interesting to see how him and Booth gel in a pressure situation. I'd imagine the first thing Booth will demand is that Eubank Snr gets out of the corner during fights. I'm not sure there's room for him and Booth.
