I saw him getting tagged plenty in his last fight. Don't see him lasting 12 rounds with manny, even this version of him.

I think there is every possibility they will meet again, and with Floyd freed up, less money will be siphoned off from the two combatants.
Kind of what I'm thinking too.
I was hearing a reasonably well connected person say it weeks and weeks ago :TU:

A guy like Manny can't retire on a loss so I understand his reasoning behind having 1 more fight after the Floyd dance-fest.

I just don't get his stupid government aspirations and why he's let it affect his profession like it has. There's plenty of time to put towards that after boxing so I don't understand why he's jumped in during it. And, why would anyone want be in politics in the Philippians in the first place? There were 1200 political murders there from 2000-2010.

One day, i'm not going to be too surprised to read the headlines that some idiot went and did Manny in over some political agenda. Manny wanted to be a pro basketball player at 5'4" so he bought the team. He's got a horrible voice but wanted to be a singer so he bought a record label. Politics in the Philippians is not joke and i'm sure he won't be able to buy his way through that mess over there.

I'd lay money on it.

If they can get the money they want, it's the retirement fight both men want.

Floyd gets his 50-0 against a guy he knows he can beat, Manny gets one more huge payday and sails off into the sunset.

It will be a terrible fight, and everyone who bought the PPV will once against lament their foolishness.

who can blame them. non dangerous fight
for either one and still will make substantial
money. not as much as the first, but still more
than anyone else will be making.

I would love to see Pac vs Provo, Brook, Porter/Thurman winner, but won't.
I think Arum will keep it in house vs Crawford unless Roach convinces him to go with Danny Garcia.
