Jo jo Dan was the mandatory,so had no choice,Gavin, yes that was a poor choice, but Chaves,i think that's reasonable to be honest

Taken in isolation Chaves is a reasonable opponent. But after Brook's last 2 defences, I'd prefer to see a good opponent rather than a reasonable one

The difference is, Brook, whilst not exactly fighting a who's who of welterweights in the last year, has recovered from a career threatening injury, and has fought whoever has been put in front of him. You think he wouldn't want to fight the likes of Mayweather? He'd love it just as much as Khan would but you don't hear him bleating on about it. What you do hear is him desperate for the chance to face Amir Khan as he genuinely believes he wins. Khan comes out with bullshit about Brook 'not proving himself', even though he's a legitimate world champion, because he doesn't want to face him.
Khan baffles me - he's technically a fantastic fighter but he has a huge reluctance to get in with Brook, and seems to think that a couple of bang average wins (yes - better than Brook's last 3 fighters for sure) means he should be guaranteed a shot at Mayweather. It's BS - he's an arrogant knob. I think he does cause all sorts of problems for Mayweather and Pacquiao but he doesn't deserve a shot at them any more than Kell Brook. The past is irrelevant to a certain degree; Amir has a far better record than Brook, but Brook is the champion at the moment, let's not forget that. Khan lost his when he did his famous baby giraffe routine against Danny Garcia. I'd say actually that Khan is the one who needs to prove himself, rather than Brook. Brook took all sorts of criticism after the first Carson Jones fight, rightly so, so he got back in and did the job properly. I wonder when Amir will be rematching any of his victors?

Kell Brook doesn't get as much criticism as Khan because he doesn't shoot off his mouth as much.
Kell wants to fight Amir, but Amir doesn't want to know, despite claiming that he'd beat Kell easily.
Khan is doing a lot of talking & not a lot of fighting these days.
I'm not defending Brook's opposition recently; in fact, I have mocked the standard of opposition that has been put in front of him, but at least Brook is fighting as well as talking; Khan is only doing the latter.

Spot on.
There is simply no excuse for a guy in his prime in a division where there are so many options & a large talent pool to only have one fight in a calendar year.
I was hoping that FMJ's latest 'retirement' might wake Khan up so that he can continue his career & stop waffling about fighting Floyd, which was probably never on the cards anyway.
You never know, he might get up off his backside & fight someone in 2016!

Only one fight between him and his brother.

I've got Khan on Snapchat as I thought it would give a good insight to his training/nutrition etc like Joshua's does but all it is is him visiting Arab countries, driving fast cars, trying on expensive suits and posing for photos. I've tried to stay away from the Khan bashing brigade but the lad only cares for money these days.

To an extent, I agree, but I wonder how much of this comes from Khan being more in the public eye and so being interviewed / questioned about future opponents more often? Can make it seem like he's blowing his own trumpet when, in reality, he just has more visibility in doing it.

Maidana for me.
Khan looks like a fighter looking for a pension fight.
Love him or loathe him he's given us some good nights.
limmomd was a close fight, he knock khan down. but willie came back after all that
Limmomd did indeed knock him down, and Amir came back to win. In fact this fight was, allegedly, the start of the breakdown between Oliver Harrison and "Team Khan". But I dont see that win as one of his best wins... Better than Mallinagi, Judah or the Collazo performance? Better than Alexander who'd beat Matthysse, Maidana and Bailey?
Khan should, in truth, have dispatched Limmomd handily. Just as he should've Michael Gomez who, like Limmond, also ensured he had to recover from a knockdown to win!

I love watching Khan, I would put him in my top 5 fighters to watch, but his actions are costing him at the moment. He needs to concentrate on a belt rather than concentrating on fighting Mayweather or Pacquiao. He is going to look back on his career with regret if he doesn't start focusing. It is obvious that the belts don't motivate, but purely money.

I could understand fighters not necessarily being motivated by belts these days. With Khan, i think it's more that he's not interested in the challenge of proving himself to be the best, it's purely money.
