I doubt we'll see another pullout at this stage, a fight for the title will go ahead on December 19th whether it's between Andy Lee and Billy Joe Saunders or not, unless they can't pass the medical pulling out would be stupid for both fighters.

Good point expe and given the previous cancellations I would have thought fwank would want, if possible, to have a standby opponent ready to be called in.

Will just be the next available contender. Arif Magomedov is ranked 2 so he would be next in line if he accepts, otherwise they'd just keep going down the rankings until someone else takes the fight. Tommy Langford who's on the undercard is number 5 in the WBO rankings and it wouldn't surprise me if he got the fight if Lee or Saunders pulled out. As much as it would hurt the show, I think Fwank would be quite happy if Lee pulled out and Saunders got an easy opponent for the vacant title.

Ah yeah makes sense why Langford is on the bill. Get him in training and ready for that date as a worse case scenario.

Hes not fighting. Rekons Smith is demanding an immediate re-match clause and Mosley doesnt want to in case he loses twice. FFS.

Why do challengers who aren't mandatory always seem to moan about a rematch clause when being offered a title fight.
It is common practice for a voluntary defence to have a rematch clause written into the contract.
Didn't Rios give the same reason for not taking the Brook fight?

Probably because he is the bigger name. I dont think he had any intention of fighting him. First he was saying he wouldn't be on any under card, he must be main event etc. He is now complaining that if he loses, the rematch must be immediate, and he might lose again giving a LL on his record. Load of sh*te.

Too many stupid demands from Mosley. He had to be the main event, his son had to be on the undercard, the rematch could only be within 8 weeks, or it would have to be in October 2016, but if he won by KO there couldn't be a rematch.

I think Mosley could give Smith plenty to think about with his ring craft and experience. He's past his best obviously but not shot in the Katsidis mode. Will Smith even fight on this bill now ? I am starting to wonder

He might not be what he was, but Mosley is not shot.

Doesn't look like it will happen in December, Joe G's eyes are on this for Anfield in the summer
