Don't have a Danny. Been watching them both for a few years ago & have thought each one had progressed further than the other at various stages of their career.

A KO for either one or close points for either one would not surprise me. The only thing I can't see happening is Quigg easily outboxing Frampton. Winning on points maybe but not sweeping most rounds a la Ward Froch.

I do know that if the fight is a cracker with a close or controversial ending we'll be seeing a rematch at Wembley next summer.

Manc and an Irishman having a rematch at Wembley? Surely Corke Park or Old Trafford / Etihad make more sense?

As for the fight, ive strongly believed one beats the other at one stage or another. At this stage, despite an uninspiring performance last time out, I pick Frampton. Possibly and surprisingly by KO.

Frampton via late stoppage due to a body-shot. Quigg will come for it, Frampton will oblige.

Quigg is getting the votes for that fantastic win over Martinez, but I think Carl's win over Martinez was even more impressive, as I reckon Kiko was significantly on the downside by the time Quigg got to him.

I'm a boxing fan I just wanna go and see the fight I slightly lean towards Frampton but like both lads, but my mate who I'd go with is a Quigg fan. Where do I sit?

Glad to hear it is finally signed, I was getting bored of hearing people talk about a fight that didn't look like happening.
I still lean towards Frampton slightly, if he can avoid getting drawn into a war he can outbox Quigg.
But it is an evenly matched fight, hopefully we get to see plenty more like this.

Finally! Will definitely try to get tickets for this one. Slightly leaning towards Quigg but like most others, change my mind all the time. At the moment just thinking Quigg has the power and the confidence. Both have been down before but am I right in saying only in 1 fight each?

Gone for Frampton points. Whilst I've always thought it was a close fight a year ago I'd have been 100% confident in a Frampton win and probably have gone for a stoppage. Nowhere near as confident now (which is hopefully a sign that it will be a great fight).

Really looking forward to it. Will give it a go for the tickets when they go on sale. Is it really segregated? How does that work? I like both fighters probably Frampton slightly more but I would assume (perhaps wrongly) it will be easier to get tickets in the Quigg half of the arena.

Is it worth getting Fight Pass for tickets? Has anyone bought them through this?

Something about Frampton makes me want to see him knocked out. I think it's the little smirk he always has on his face. Kind of like montiel vs donaire. Montiel had the same annoying smirk on his face all the way through and for some reason it was really satisfying to see the look of shock on his face when he was dropped. I think Frampton outboxes quigg though.I don't even see it as competitive.quigg is pretty one dimensional and Frampton is far trickier. Both have chin questions but all in all id expect Frampton to win. I wouldn't pick a stoppage because punch resistance can be improved chemically if you know what I mean. And if ever there was a fight worth taking chemicals that give you an edge it's this one.

I just can't forget how Quigg was dropped and hurt by light punching Jamie Arthur. Plus Frampton has the better footwork of the two; Quigg's stance is very wide so he is a bit slow of foot whereas as Frampton is able to get in and out of range quickly and effectively.

Frampton stoppage IMO. Quigg's size, strength and power makes it interesting though.

Eddie had a one night stand with Wembley & has been hankering for another go ever since. None of the other stadiums rock his boots in the same way.

We've all been there.

Yeah I remember the knockdown against Jamie Arthur, definitely legitimate although don't think Quigg was really hurt. Wasn't that the fight with the weird stoppage where Arthur did a 360 spin?

Yes that's the one, and I only know because I just watched a Hatton promotions highlight reel of the fight, where absurdly, they don't even show Quigg getting knocked down !!

There is a one second clip of it elsewhere and it looks like he went over quite spectacularly

I have to go the other way and pick a Quigg stoppage, I think he'll get Frampton to the body. I think it's far more evenly matched than some might suggest and that Quigg is underrated, it won't be a quick finish though. Quigg by ko in 7

Frampton for me and i reckon by stoppage.

Quigg has been flattered by that win against Martinez in his home town whereas Frampton has been given a rough time for his performance away from home in the alien surroundings in texas. Quigg has been in trouble with lesser fighters a fair bit and looked vulnerable more than the odd time. I do think Frampton is a level above.
