 Does that apply to Danny Green? OR Pureist who continually bags Mayweather and Mundine?
It applies to people who continually bag others in an effort to feel better about their own inadequacies. Like you do with Danny Green.

bogan whisperer do you consider this an acceptable fight and undercard ? Enough of the psychobabble Im sure if I could be bothered I could find you tearing down a fighter in your posts. Is this worth $50 or whatever you would spend at the pub/club watching this?

We have all been critical of a fighter at one time or other and I'm sure if you search hard enough you will find an example of me doing it.

The difference is you spend your every waking hour trying to tear down Danny Green. It is an obsession. An illness.

Enough of the psychobabble????? Coming from you that is laughable

OK Goose, its not often I have done this but I will jump to your defence.

Bogan, please don't think this of this as the forum mafia ganging up on you, because Goose and I have had strong disagreements in the past regarding a range of subjects in this great sport of OURS!!

I, like goose, bag self promoting fighters all the time. In fact just check both mine and goose's recent history and we are very critical of the Mundines and Greens. We also both spend a bit of time on the De Mori thread for similar reasons (it is a very strange place to post in).

What goose and I are saying, and what we have said on both Mundine and Green "big fight" promotions is to spew about how these self promoting fighters have the national press in their pockets, they feed them the lines to market their stupid mismatched fights. The non centric boxing punters think 'great lets dish out 50 bucks a pop to watch this specticle' and it is effectively junk, and they lose interest in boxing. It makes this sport look like a joke.

Thats why Goose and I go spastic over big fight announcements like this which are bad value to the public and detrimental to the sport.

It doesn't take much of my time he does it himself. I have never seen a fighter contradict himself so much and do it so publically. I am a huge Daniel Geale fan but can take people being critical of his performances e.g. Quitting against GGG and Cotto yet you cannot answer a simple question. Is this opponent acceptable to you as an opponent for a fighter of Greens level ?

It astounds me how you lose the concept of your comments, your comment was its a very ordinary undercard, then somehow you get back on to greens opponent, it's very simple GOOSE, people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, your saying these fighters are below par yet you have never been inside a boxing ring, most of these guys work full time and fit in training before and after work yet you feel justified in bagging them, why don't you challenge yourself and grow some nuts instead of bagging everyone

What you have ever so conveniently left out there is you spend your every waking hour across multiple forums bagging Danny Green. It has gone beyond an obsession. It is an illness.

How many threads here have been closed due to your Danny Green obsession so far? How many more will it take before you get the message?

Wrong I start threads about other fighters more than I do about Danny and didn't start this thread. I am simply giving my opinion this fight is a mismatch and his opponent is fighting 7kg above his normal weight. The question is not what I may or may not post about at other forums it's a simple question regarding Danny Greens opponent in a Danny Green thread.

So the fact Goose has never been in a ring makes his opinion less valid on a boxing forum built for fans? What are you trying say here?

People like you annoy me, and before you bag me about not being there so I would I know - a little bit of history about myself.
I am former Amateur in the UK with Exeter ABC, I gave up when I was 18 to pursue a degree in engineering at Manchester Uni. When I gave up I kept myself in shape and during summer breaks sparred with my friend and former British and Commonwealth MW champion Scott Dann at the beginning of his pro career in the late 90's. He was a little bit better than the rest of us and therefore his new trainer advised on a little more quality on the choice of sparring partners, hence why I got the boot and never got into a ring with a pro since!!!
I know what kind of focus and dedication is required, believe me a know a lot of guys who were committed Pros but with a lot less talent then Scott!!
A few guys who I was amateur with who stepped up to the Pros after two years they knew that they were not good enough even to challenge for the BBoC Southern Area title, they still trained and worked full time. They did it because they loved the sport, it was a way of life for most the guys. In fact I wrote a post on this a few months ago, please check my history.

But people like Goose are the lifeblood of your sport aswell, if Goose is not inspired by what he is being offered in terms of an undercard and even less impressed with the main event then he wont buy a ticket or a PPV. That means less revenue for your fighters. But the fact that Goose, or anyone who has'nt boxed, shouldn't have an opinion on boxing because they have'nt been there is just stupid.

And I am sure Goose was not disrespecting the individual fighters and the commitment they put in.

mate these guys get them all closed down but r totally clueless as to why it happened, lol.

it use to be on here that if u trolled a topic to death u would get booted for trolling instead of locking topic after topic. the rest of the adults on here r not able to have a proper discussion on here regarding green etc. cause of these childish nerds.

now they get rewarded with their own personal topics, pmsl.

Well let me tell you I'm sure he is disrespecting the individual fighters, I was on another forum with this moron and his 4 buddies and they consider disrespecting fighters as a sport, as you would know until you've done the hard yards and been in the ring you really don't understand what it takes, if he is so unhappy with the lineup he could get off his couch and put in the hard yards himself, but no, he is a couch potato expert, one of those guys at the fights who rants why didn't he do this, why didn't he do that, while drinking 10 pots and sounding like an imbecile

Apparently ticket sales have been "atrocious" an insider was heard saying from Greeny's camp. Maybe just maybe the general fight fan public are starting to wise up. :OhYes:

Pureist thinks because he teaches a few kids boxing at the PCYC he is qualified to monitor what people post. He has been caught out on 2 forums bagging out fighters yet not watching the fights he's commenting on. I am not disrespecting the undercard fighters as Lerio and the other Philo will probably earn a months wages in 1 night to be destroyed by the Maloney twins and good luck to them. But it's not fair for fairweather fans who shell out $50 for this card.
The fact Cotto-Alvarez has Miura-Vargas,Caballero-Haskins on the undercard and costs $20 less than this card in Australia really shows whats the story here. And some still criticise that card.
