Rooting for Fury though.

Not sure God will let that happen mate. Sure he has other things to worry about but nothing more important than helping Fury punch the crap out of someone for a load of moneyRiddick Blowe wrote:Devil worshipper by the big KO

Fury definitely wasn't in that type of shape 3 weeks before the last date. He mentioned he was flued up and couldn't train properly. Seems the delay might have done him some good.

Does Tyson have a close relationship with David Icke?
I never knew Wlad was a devil worshipper.... Maybe that's why he suddenly changed from a fragile fighter to one of the best heavyweights ever - he sold his soul to the Devil!
I would like to know if he changes into a lizard before eating Hayden Pannetiere's menstrual blood????

Wlad has had some early nights vs. the bigger fighters. Fury is decent for sure, but you just can't have an average type of chin and defense and expect to last long vs. Klitschko.wesshaw1985 wrote:who wins?
I think Klitschko KO in five rounds or less, but it could end any time depending on how much Fury risks early in the fight.

Does anybody know who's on the undercard?
Had a quick search but couldn't find anything definite, just mixed posts about Hughie.

What a weird combination, I guess a lads night in is out of the question then.
Re: Wladamir Klitschko (c) vs. Tyson Fury - November 28th 2015
I think Wlad will get the job done by KO in the mid rounds after a very competitive first 4 or 5. Fury's problem is that he just doesn't hit hard enough to deter Wlad in my opinion and it's almost impossible to imagine him not getting caught flush by Wlad's big right hand.

Anyone know what time the Rod Stewart Ring walk is - don't want to miss him!

I think there's another possible outcome (albeit unlikely), which is that Fury can set a pace that forces Wlad to tire down the stretch. Fury does seem to be able to fight at a fair lick, and Wlad doesn't really like to work hard.SteveDow wrote:I think Wlad will get the job done by KO in the mid rounds after a very competitive first 4 or 5. I'm giving Wlad 85% chance of winning this, he is getting on, but he seems in tip top shape, and to be honest, Fury really isn't that impressive. If he had a big punch, I'd give him much more of a chance, but for his size, he's relatively feather fisted. Compare what Haye did to Chisora, and the fights with Fury, and you can see the huge difference between a real puncher and a mediocre puncher.

Yes, if he had Haye's power he'd be in with a genuinely decent shout given his height and reach advantages and his ability to switch to southpaw which could confuse Wlad.jamesmcdonnell wrote:I think there's another possible outcome (albeit unlikely), which is that Fury can set a pace that forces Wlad to tire down the stretch. It'll be fascinating to see what tactics Fury adopts. He's already said he needs a KO to win in Germany so does that imply that he'll try and make it into a tear up? That'd be hugely risky but may actually be his best chance of winning. His boxing skills do seem to have improved immeasurably over the last 2 years but there's a world of difference schooling a past it Chisora to doing the same against Wlad.

I give Fury a big chance in this. I keep on thinking about how uncomfortable Wald looked when Saunders traded blows with him, and then Brewster. In the Brewster fight he got tired very quickly because he was scared of being hit (after the Saunders fight).
I think Fury needs to walk in with his hands held high and then throw -he has got fast hands and is heavy handed. Could be a great win.

Wlad has improved hugely since those fights though, almost to the extent that you can discount his early losses. Pulev tried to get aggressive with him last year and ended up getting sparked so I'm not sure those bull rushing tactics are hugely effective against Wlad any more although ironically they may be the best chance Fury has of winning if he can somehow land a money punch.big lennox wrote:I give Fury a big chance in this. I think we need to hope Wlad has become old overnight for Fury to have a realistic chance but there's been no evidence of that. I do hope Fury wins though. The heavyweight division needs a spark and Wlad seems like being able to go on for years yet. Who can blame him I guess when the opposition is so average and he's earning so much.

Fury is NOT heavy handed. He has quick hands, but he does not hit hard at all.big lennox wrote:I give Fury a big chance in this. Wlad's last loss was over a decade ago - he's not come every close to losing since, since he worked with Steward, he learned to control the pace, remain cool under fire, and most of all negate his opponent's offence. He was a different fighter back then.
As others have said, the few times in recent years, that people have thrown themselves at Wlad trying to put him under pressure, he's smashed them to bits. The rest of them have given up after a couple of rounds of having their heads jabbed off.

I still think there's a fair chance that this one doesn't happen.

Disagree.Fury may not be a one punch knock out artist in the mold of a Haye or Wilder, but he does hit deceptively hard. Wlad has improved a lot since his losses, but ultimately there are two types of boxedrs when it comes to getting hit: You either get hit and your eyes narrow and you fancy it, or you get hit and your eyes go wide open and you carry a state of shock on your face. Everytime Wlad gets clipped he is the latter and not the former, and he holds on for dear life. Fury is taller than him and has talent, so Wlad won't be able to hold on everytime. I can see Wlad not having it his own way in there.jamesmcdonnell wrote:Fury is NOT heavy handed. He has quick hands, but he does not hit hard at all.big lennox wrote:I give Fury a big chance in this. Re: Wladamir Klitschko (c) vs. Tyson Fury - November 28th 2015
I think the other thing that hasn't really been discussed on this thread is experience. Wlad has had nearly 70 fights now with a good number of those being world title fights and he's remained active over the last decade. He's been there seen it, done it and got the t-shirt, regularly fighting in front of 50,000 or more.
Fury has only had a very small number of fights in comparison and of those fights only the Chisora and Cunningham ones could really be described as being big fights. In addition he has been very inactive only having had 4 fights in 3 years. I appreciate that that was not his fault but it could well count against him. Fury has experienced nothing remotely on this scale so one of the key factors will be how it affects him when the size of the task dawns on him. How will he cope with that pressure? Maybe he'll thrive on it but there's an equal chance at least that he may be overwhelmed by it especially if he gets tagged early in the fight.

I don't think people are forgetting Wladimir's experience and expertiese. He is a fine champion, and will take some beating. Fury doesn't strike me as the sort of character to bottle it. I think he is quite a smart cookie and will box to orders, and will have the range and speed to get through.SteveDow wrote:I think the other thing that hasn't really been discussed on this thread is experience. Equally, Wlad doesn't throw his right hand very often but when he does it is fast and accurate and powerful.
I can't see this fight going to points.

The only way Fury wins is if he lands a freak KO blow. He's far less skilled, far less experienced, far less powerful than Wlad. He has virtually no chance, and if he wasn't British we wouldn't even be debating it.

I was thinking the other way around, his only chance is avoid any kind of fighting, just run around like a chicken and with his 100ft long arms sometimes touch Wladimir and score points and rounds that way. There's no way that he can KO, but he can avoid getting KOed himself.Boxerbeetle wrote:The only way Fury wins is if he lands a freak KO blow. Watching that , Fury is'nt scared , but we all know that anyway , he would'nt be a boxer if he was .. But i do think he has a quiet confidence about him and believes his own words , but close your eyes and you could be forgiven for thinking its his uncle talking .
Vlad on the other hand i think Tyson has got under his skin , but will it do him (tyson ) any good , I don't think so .. I think he should of gone about the biggest fight in his life with his mouth shut personaly i do believe Vlad cancelled to get more time to train , simply because he was in slow mode , not paying to much attention , then through Tysons mouth and carry on ,, he's stopped had a good luck , and woke up .
I;ve read elswhere people thinking and saying , vlad looked uncomfortable and perhaps worried ,, i look at that interview , and look at them eyes and i see determination , and resolve ,, he has woke up to the fact Tyson is a bit loose and has such treating him with caution , never the less , that cast iron resolve is there , he's on a mission , and i think he will make Tyson pay , Fury has woken the Bear and will pay the price .
I just cannot see Tyson being good enough in any way , and if he trys that leaning back shit , then all off emmanuells teachings will come right back to mind ,, straight jab , double it up , push him back and drop the right hand on him ,, If he trys the switch hitting bullshit , he will find it does'nt work against a big man , he'll get hit with a left hook or a straight right just has he switches ..
Hope i'm wrong , be nice to see the heavyweight scene shook up ,, But i just don't see any other result other than a ko win in a exciting fight while it lasts for vlad ,, or a boring defensive points victory for vlad
