I don't think Eubank has ever been in with a puncher has he?
And Spike can definitely hit - his knock out of Fitzgerald was sensational, as Fitz holds a shot well ( 10 rounds v Andy Lee says he does ) .

Maybe Chris has his dad's chin, in which case he wins this, but we can't be sure just yet, and if he goes exchanging bombs with spike in the early rounds, and I think he probably will, it could get very interesting - excellent fight.

Lee was abysmal in that fight though. First under booth and after Chavez Jr is memory serves me right.

Aye a bit cringeworthy and uncomfortable and that's just watching it! I watched the AJ one the other day though and it's probably the first time I've seen AJ look genuinely angry. He looked as if he wanted to rip Whytes head off but composed himself well.

I've seen him a few times and can't remember him ever being hurt. He had a tough night against Matt Hall which he won well but I can't remember if he was hurt during that one.

As long as Eubank Jnr takes this fight as seriosuly as he did Billy Saunders he will win with room to spare.

This should be a comfortable win for Eubank Jr. He is levels above O'Sullivan.

Very hard to watch these Gloves Are Off, they're all a bit cringe.

However I did enjoy Eubank when he asked Spike if he wanted to shake his hand, and then told him to put it back in his pocket.

Yes that did make me chuckle to myself. I really like Eubank Jnr arrogance. It's controlled and not over the top so fair play to him.

Yep that was the best bit. Thought it was one of the poorest gloves are off (I actually didn't mind the Joshua v Whyte one that everyone else has moaned about - there was genuine needle I felt). This one due to Spike really, never got going - he barely said more than a couple of words, and as Eubank picked up on it was basically just repetition of "I'm going to knock you out".

Someone said earlier about him sounding like his Dad some of his expressions are actually very similar too.

Agree. Comes across quite switched on. A hell of a lot more articulate than Spike but that's not saying much!

go back and watch the Eubank/Chudinov presser, he said exactly the same things.
Seems to me he doesn't have much interesting to say himself so tends to push the questions towards his opponent...

Just watched the gloves are off and Spike looks to be shitting himself, very quiet and his voice seemed to be trembling slightly,Eubank Jr on the hand was calmness personified ,i always fancied Jr in this one but am convinced of it now,O'Sullivan obviously carries a dig but i think Chris will catch him pretty early

Looked that way to me too he looked to be bricking it, spike was embarrassed about the internet trolling he did as well. I enjoyed that gloves are off but sometimes I think it's unfair to put a less articulate fighter in with someone who can joust verbally.

Completely agree with you. The best Gloves are Off episodes are those where the verbal joust is just as polished as the one in the ring. Spike was a bit subdued, which does seem odd for him. I think Eubank Jr could be a really top fighter so I am looking forward to seeing how this pans out. I shant be paying for the PPV though.

Just watching the weigh in on IFL & they even have some homo-erotic house music to set the mood. Then 'English' starts dancing in a Flashers Mac. Spike's tach is a nice touch too. The only thing missing is Carl Froch's brothers' pleather gear.
