Lol, just watched it on demand. I was expecting a repeat of the Froch v Bute thing where he runs in early when the fight isn't officially over. As it turns out he runs in and hugs Crolla twice. F uck me, hang the c unt.
Don't for god sake watch Frampton v Avalos if you want to see overacting from a promoter. Wouldn't surprise me at all if it's in the contract for the broadcaster to (I) interview him before, during and after the fight. (II) have the camera on him constantly between rounds. (III) have himself between the fighter and the camera for the entirety of the post fight while he leaps around pointing at his guy.

You can accuse Eddie Hearn of a lot of things. Not having a genuine emotional investment in many of his fighters isn't one.
Simply not liking the bloke clouds people's judgement a lot. Remember when 90% of people were
convinced that the Brook injury was a sham to get him on December 12th?

Despite all reason and logic indicating that was bollocks. It's strange.

Boring.
5 years ago it was Wazza 3 years ago it was Meaty Mick now it's Hearn's turn.
They all piss in the same pot.
That said the Promoter has every right to celebrate.
Would Crolla have got these two opportunities elsewhere ? ....................................................No.

I do get endless amusement out of this parody twitter account! It certainly speaks more truth than the real one that's for sure!

I was re watching an old Benn Eubank documentary last night and they had a scene where Steve Davis potted the winning ball at a snooker match and within a millisecond Barry Hearn was down there hugging Davis.
Seriously. Eddie is just doing what Dad taught him.

He is a big snake that has no loyalty to these fighters, his only loyalty is his wallet yet he jumps in and tries to bask in their glory like he was there with them all along the way and has some entitlement to share their celebration. Crolla clearly wants to celebrate with the people that mean something to him but he has his pay master hanging about like a bad smell...
Yeah it looked like crolla just wanted the middle class mockney to piss ooorf

I can't think of Hearn without feeling aggrieved that Joshua v Whyte is PPV..... I mean, come on.

In fairness hearn snr and the nugget have been best mates for 30 odd years.
Out of all the promoters I think Barry is actually the most likeable (relative term!!)
