Conor has tweeted that Eubank has hinted at a 3rd fight with Nigel.

Personally i think it would be a bad decision for a 3rd clash. Sure it would make money but thats what Eubank is after. I dont think a 3rd fight would would prove anything or have any fire in its belly. Eubank is obviously wanting cash but i hope Nigel does not get involved with him.

Why not go for Steve Collins instead Mr Eubank? Hes most likely the one who will take up the offer.

I think Nigel is pretty wealthy so he wouldn't need the dough but I know he was bitter about never having beaten him, so you never know.

I think they should just let sleeping dogs lie and move on. It was a fantastic rivalry and one that will live long in the memory. The two of them are part of the reason that I got into boxing. That being said I'd no doubt tune in if a third fight were to happen but I wouldn't lose any sleep if it never.

Chris Eubank has always known how to push Nigel Benn's buttons.

I don't believe for one minute that he'd entertain coming back at 50 to have a rubber match with Benn, but he knows Benn would do it & it's probably a wind-up.

I don't think Eubank would take the the fight if he didn't feel he could win, and wouldn't come i under prepared as he knows what he is up against in fighting Benn. Money talks though! For all the the things said about Eubank, he is one of the proudest warriors ever seen.
I'd put Benn as a strong favourite though.

Both these men, or at least combined could clear every pub in the country, fifty or not, but I'd not wish to see them fight. What's the point? People wanna see active pros, not comeback merchants from 20yrs ago.

Not being old enough to follow the sport I'd got it into my head CE was favourite going in to F1, so wasn't surprised when he won. Was only years later I learned it was the other way around.
For the second fight - although it was an even contest - I still saw CE as the superior fighter on account that Benn again wasn't able to beat him.
I think F1 is a good marker for their respective abilities.

I think you might be right. Ive just read a sky sports article which says Benn has given Eubank a 3 month deadline to make up his mind. I cant imagine the bbboc licencing this. That means eff all these days though. This could be the Maltese lot biggest promotion.

Its a shame if it comes off however could be made as an exhibition event maybe. I know ill watch it if it comes off.

Benn must still have something in the basement.

Years ago they were in some daft gladiator type program together where they were pitted against one another in a series of physical challenges, and it was clear that Benn still burned with anger towards Eubank and was desperate

Theres clear evidence Benn HAS been in the gym, and none that Eubank has. Of course it's possible, and none of this is columbo territory, but my gut instinct is that Benn of the two, would want it more, and would work harder if it ever came off. I think boxing competitively is really just ancient history for Eubank Sr. I think he's proven everything he felt he needed to against Benn.

Yeah, after Benn beat him in that Gladiator programme, Eubank said he didn't really care as he won when it mattered.

I'd love to see it if I'm honest. Even now. And u bunch of holier than thou chumps would all tune in as well i bet.

They'd sell it so well, show the kids how "the gloves are off" should really be done! I'd love to see eubank hamming it up at a press conference of his own for a change as well!

For the record, benn would chase him out the ring now i think.

I'd have no problem with it as long as it was sold for what it is, two former pros having a last hurrah! Be nice if they did it for charity.

It was clear that Eubank didn't really give a stuff, as opposed to Benn who really really wanted to prove he was better.

Looking lean and ripped, does not mean someone is in fighting shape. It's possible he's doing gym work, but unconfirmed.
