I'm not too sure mate. I can't actually remember if I've even seen him box. If I have he can't be anything special or I'd have remembered lol.

Surely when Fury signed the contract and the stipulation was a rematch with Klit if he won, the IBF would have been in favour or this part of the contract? Otherwise why did the IBF scation the fight in the first place, or not come out and say if Fury wins we do not agree with the rematch clause? Boxing stinks like a Texan whore.

If Team Fury wanted to do an 11th hour deal then that is their choice.

The IBF are flaky and often show preference to American promoters - as the WBC often sides with mexican fighters (Chavez Snr and later Chavez Jr being a great example)

I bet if Wlad retained, then the IBF would have had a different approach to it, knowing that Wlad brings that big bank to the table every time he puts on the gloves.

True, but he knew if he beat Wlad, then the rematch would produce far more money than defending some mickey mouse belt against Glazkov!

Besides, Glazkov loses to Martin who I believe is a Haymon fighter. Wilder vs Martin sometime soon. Wilder unifies the belts and sets up an ultimate unification fight with Fury!

Fury got stripped for the simple fact that it gives Anthony Joshua an easy route to win a world title. He'll be the IBF heavyweight champion in a couple of fights time. Then he'll get bum after bum mandatory just like Kell Brook with his IBF title. Don't worry though it'll only be £17 a fight and when people complain. It'll be a simple "it's a mandatory, he's got to fight this bum or he'll get stripped"..... for the next 8 fights.

Yep, I'm afraid I think that you are right.

Fury's re-matching the best heavyweight of his generation and the IBF can't give him, or Vladimir for that matter, some room with the mandatory.

Disgraceful ! Everyone knows who the heavyweight champion of the world is.

It's actions like this that make me want everyone involved in boxing to say to all the sanctioning bodies, enough is enough. They are bringing down the sport and serve no purpose other than lining their own pockets.
Tyson Fury is world heavyweight champion and until he's beaten in the ring or retires, this will always be the case.
Neither Glazkov nor Martin are fit to lace the gloves of Fury or Klitschko, never mind lay claim to be world heavyweight champion.

I reckon if their glove lacing skills are up to the task, then there's nothing to say they wouldn't be able to lace the gloves of those fighters. I'm sure they'd prefer to become paper champions instead, which I agree, they have no right to be.
