Well said Coneye, Parker was up against a heavy bag with arms, the ref. should have called a halt to the farce in the 4th,Bergman threw 4 decent punches the entire fight, Parker has to step up another level to be tested, otherwise he will get a big shock, I hope Lucas Brown does ot meet the same fate as Demori, but if he does, he and Parker would be an ideal match, all the best

Glad to hear you see the potential in Joseph Parker. From your previous post it sounded like you just hated the guy. I like Parker but I'm level headed and I mention his flaws.

Like I said, I'm level headed. I'm pointing out Parkers FLAWS and that he's got potential and now I'm the one wearing rose glasses?? Your previous post of Parker getting "destroyed" is that of someone wearing I hate Parker glasses. I'm a fan of Anthony Joshua, not so much the rest but I don't go saying they would get destroyed when I don't really know that for a fact. I just keep it real not fantastical.

Parkers management might be keen on Browne if he WINS.

Anyway, Team Parker are chasing Anthony Joshua for an April bout. Dean Lonergan has offered a Parker/Joshua bout but Hearn turned him down. I hear they are still pursuing. What people don't know is, some of these guys managements are not wanting their fighter to fight Parker.

Look up lonergan wants to end the myth which is Joshua. That's my source.

Saying Parker would get destroyed against these guys is , not a hate Parker thing at all , just observation , he's not ready for them its simple and to be honest unless he goes to the states or elswhere with a big name promoter a top trainer and most importantly GOOD SPARRING , he may never make the grade .. Thats no critism of his current trainers and management , just a theory based on where he lives .

I can tell you one thing Bergman would not off survived that long against , Haye or Joshua , there acurate and can bang , , To be honest i even think Whyte , Joshuas , last opponent would be a dangerous fight for Parker ,, for my money Parker should be chasing Brown , taking a bit of time off and looking to really make a splash in 4-5 years , when he would be facing the likes of Hughie Fury , Bring in Demori lets see how long it takes him to put DemORI AWAY , IF IT TAKES MORE THAN 3 ROUNDS GO BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD , i WOULD LOVE TO SEE pARKER WIN A WORLD TITLE FOR HIMSELF AND HIS FOLLOWERS ,, BUT KEEP IT REAL . At the moment he is no where near a world threat that some to think he is , he's just like Capperelo , and Broadhurst , to name two ,, good in his region but goldfish in the big pool , But like i said i hope he does well .

Well that's your opinion which is surprisingly contrary to what a lot of top boxing trainers and elite boxers are saying. Tyson Furys trainer has him as a contender. Maybe you see something we don't. I see flaws not saying he's great but given his age, he could wait it out and clock up the wins and experience. He's got plenty of years in the boxing game so you'll hear of him for years to come and given that longevity and the ground hes covered now (WBO no.3) he's bound to have some major success down the line.

Joshua vs Parker makes for a great fight. But it needs buildup if it is to be a big $$$ fight. Hopefully this is the beginning of that buildup and the fight won't happen too soon.

Must be getting closer to a collision course with one of the top ranked fighters. Only Fury above him in the WBO now. But as we know Wlad will be keeping him busy for a while.

Right well that is NOT a call out lol.

He was asked what he thought about him, and he responded in like. The full interview is below, which by the way, he explains in excellent detail why he's not fighting for world titles yet. To be honest, both management teams would be stupid to make that fight. These two guys in my opinion are heading for the top of the division, I'd much rather see them go toe to toe in a world title fight. There would be absolutely nothing to gain from these guys trading punches at this stage of their careers. All that would happen is one fighter would have to take a sizeable step backwards in their development. I didn't think that Whyte should have fought Joshua, thought it was too soon, thought they both should have gone separate routes and meet later at a higher level. But it happened, Joshua dodged a bullet, and it remains to be seen what Whyte will do next (although expected back in the ring in June after surgery).

Both Parker and Joshua are perilously close to the top of the rankings without testing themselves against some top 30 opposition. They could get themselves in the same situation as Martin if they don't pick their fights carefully.

Joseph Parker has been calling out Joshua and is clearly keen to fight him.
