If Chisorasaurus's chin isn't broken from David Haye (there's been a few times its looked like it has been). Then I would put my money on him to beat Joshua. Let's not forget his last loss was against a guy who just derailed the reigning HW king not some bum. He's looked like he's had a severe lack of ambition but I'm not convinced he is as shot as people are implying.

It all depends if he can still take a shot imo.
Exactly, del boy has only lost to former, future and current genuine world champion's (fcuk the judges at the Helenius fight).

Its pointless judging him against poor opposition as he's never motivated and always under performs.

It will be tough for any fighter to come back from a ko like that.

I think he's had his 15 minutes, looked good doing it though.

Credit to DW he did not give up or "freeze" he gave AJ a run for his money.

Here's how I see it british wise rankings on recent performances..

1. Tyson fury - but not going to fight any of the below anytime soon.

2.) chisora
3.) aj
4.) dw
5.) Hughie fury..

so...
how about chis vs aj
dw vs Hughie fury ??

How good is this david allen "white rhino" not seen any of his fights?
What's happening with Richard Towers ??

IMO Haye is too good for AJ at the moment, and Tyson Fury won't fight him so I see him getting a world title shot somehow elsewhere..

Cheers

But he will be. He might starch him in a couple of rounds, but on paper he'll be his biggest test by quite a wide margin.

Last night proved that maybe Joshua shouldn't be getting into the ring with Fury by the end of the week after all, so lets all just settle down & let Hearn continue to build him up slowly.

I would suggest Dillian will end up being the new Chisora. Gutsy, dangerous, but ultimately falling at the top level

When/If is Ian Lewinson scheduled to return - when is his suspension up? I think him vs Whyte might be a good one.

Mentally it's got to be very very hard to overcome.

Whyte genuinely believed he was going to win tonight and put in a monumental effort. He fought until he genuinely had nothing to give. Then he got laid out on the canvas.

He was losing the fight as well and his chin will be definitely be dented after that too. Beaten in absolutely every respect tonight. He's gained everyones respect though.
I dont think whyte is that stiff and uptight a mind. The bad blood like all these things he exaggerated to get a nice payday.
He is a severely limited fighter.i didnt see the monumental effort u speak of,only a committed push,in round2.he tried hard to win.but i feel if he really wanted he could have got up from the kayo

He was trying to punch the medic when he was on the floor thinking the fight was still on? He definitely couldn't have got up

I would like to see chisora v whyte just to see derek massacre him in 6-7 , it would be another highlight kayo.

I basically see whyte as a very poor mans chisora back in dels, early days.

Chisora is,quality and needs to lose weight get serious

Cant see meaty throwing Hughie Fury in with Joshua when he turned a fight with Wilder down.

I see he is already claiming that Joshua got lucky because the exact same punch (left hook) that buzzed AJ caused him to damage his shoulder so much so that his trainer was ready to pull him out but he refused.

now he seemed to be throwing punches with spite for a little while after he just couldn't get enough of them out to may an impact

Joshua will smash him to bit inside a handful of rounds. It's going to be as one sided as a David Haye Analogy.

If Joshua struggled with Whyte then why not Chisora?

Joshua is still a novice. Treating a world level opponent like Chisora like he's not good enough to step in the ring with Joshua is ridiculous.

Whyte is quicker and offers more offense. Chisora is as mobile as a glacier these days, and as aggressive as Gandhi.

Chisora will just get teed off on, he's finished as far as I can see. I think he just turns up for the paydays.

Putting AJ in with Hughie Fury would be an interesting one. Be a decent test for AJ, as well as good either way for the Fury's... Hughie wins, obviously good for them, Hughie loses, adds even more (if it needed adding to) for the inevitable Tyson clash, the whole family revenge angle.

Joshua should fight him anyway and take his place in the consensus world rankings.

Wait until Hughie has beaten McDermott first. Someone has to take that English title off him.

Horse is really setting himself up for a fall here (again). When Chisora crumples in one round he's going to look stupid (again).

He needs Chisora to be seen as a dangerous world class heavyweight so that Fury's win in the rematch seems more than it was.

Maybe not so great for Hughie Fury though, his lack of any real pop would suggest he'd be in for a rough old night of it.

One thing we've seen, is that the only person to be able to live with Joshua for a while, was someone who could hit him hard enough to get his respect and stop the marching onslaught. I'm not sure Hughie fits that mould.

Fury's just beaten Wlad. He doesn't need any other big wins on his record.

Chisora is a consensus top 15 ranked heavyweight. He would be the best name on Joshua's record by far.

True, I think if AJ is moving up a level now though, or just wants to put himself in the world-frame, then someone like Hughie puts him more in that conversation than I dunno, some Eastern European no-mark. Not that they're the only options of course.
