I think he must does other bouts before Fury, W. Klitschko, and maybe Wilder... His defense is very drillable, he has not head and body movements. This is just my opinion, i can be wrong.

Three guys I would keep AJ away from at this stage is Fury (too savvy), Ortiz (technical, puncher, unknown quantity), Parker (unknown quantity big puncher). I think he should handles rest of the heavyweights.

Teper is the next logical step and a good step up.

Pulev, Jennings - serious challenges, perhaps bit later.

Povetkin, Wilder - big occasions that need more cooking.

Wach, Thompson, Ustinov, Helenius, some other big man - good experience gaining fights.

Hughie Fury - too young for AJ

Malik Scott (Audley Harrison mark II) - 1 round KO unless Scott shits himself an quits before the starting bell.

Chisora - 1 round murder.

I reckon Chisora fight at Copperbox in Jan or Quigg Frampton in Feb then it's AJ v Chisora PPV stacked card late April early May possibly with the Fury Wlad rematch.

Then get AJ the IBF belt in another PPV around September. Then a couple of easy defences.

I don't think AJ will fight in normal sky unless he gets chinned.

Chisora is an early blowout, so is Price. So there really isn't any point in those fights.

If I could choose, I'd go for Adamek. It'd easily sell out the 02 and would almost certainly give Joshua rounds and be another learning fight for him.

Even after last night people are still talking about Chisora and Price being a waste of time and saying he should go straight to world level in his next fight.

I recently signed up to twitter after my mate nipped my head for weeks before i finally relented,i hate social media,i had never been on it before,anyways im not 1 for getting into slagging matches(although winding up the biters on CS now and again is fun) and last week Malik Scott was tearing into AJ and Price and dissapointinly i took the bait and called him a diver or something and he replied saying he beat Thompson and Price couldnt so i for 1 think Price/Scott would be a good fight for David next or even Joshua/Scott

I think Whyte is a decent puncher, not big puncher.... And he may have been carrying an injury. His right hand shots looked very restrained.

Now I know Price has a China chin, but if it had been him landing.....and Josua has towered over his opponents, (except Cornish, who actually outjabbed him, he was just too fragile.) Whyte outjabbed him at times.

Obviousky AJ would be the favourite, but if the odds were 10-1 I would definitely put a tenner on Price.

Again, Joshua was nailed with a flush left hook and looked disorganised for 5 seconds then slowed the pace down for a couple of rounds, but WON THEM. Fury would probably have been on the floor if he'd been hit with that. People are really grasping at straws here. Joshua's chin is fine. Everyone waiting for him to be knocked out will be sorely disappointed and should go back to cheering for Frankie Gavin.

Joshua is 'ready' for anyone in the division.

If I'm his promoter I'd be looking at 3 names.

Chisora- A name known to the British public. Easy by eddies standards to make a PPV out of and a fight he should win.

Scott- Wordwide name who's probably at his ranking peak following his Thompson win. Easy KO impressive win for Joshua and probably some USA airtime involved.

Teper- commonwealth and now British titles next logical step is European. Toughest and most risky fight to make. Easy fight to sell on PPV.

Yes, no signs he is chinny for me. There are bigger punchers than Whyte for sure, but I think that he's going to hold up ok unless he's put under a serious barrage, or takes an absolute pearler.

He reminds me of Lewis, not the best chin out there, but far from the worst. Of course, Lewis took punches from more established punchers in his career, but I think you get my drift. Joshua certainly is no Oliver McCall, but he's no David Price either.

I'd like to see a fight with some rugged that will get more rounds under his belt.

chisora is the easy option that will sell tickets as people will use it as a barometer against fury and haye(its not as chisora seems to be on the decline to retirement).

price is the option that wont last but could just could see if the chin can take a couple of big shots. only problem is price will fall over pretty quick if caught with some of those big rights in the first hand that stunned whyte.

I wouldn't want to be eddie trying to match make him, because similar to fury people will try and swerve him based on reputation. I still think he is 18-24months from a world title shot unless he gets one for the IBF but I expect that to be heading back to the states for wilder to pick up

Chisora is not an easy option. It would be a big step up for Joshua.

Even if Joshua destroys him easily, so what? He's just had a tough fight and having an easy time against a world ranked opponent seems like a good thing.

Joshua should win the Lonsdale belt outright before moving on and Chisora is one of the only credible opponents he can defend against.
