I read an interview yesterday with Hearn & he said that Eubank Jr is now PPV level. So that makes Joshua, Brook & Eubank so assuming they all fight a couple of times a year on different bills that's 6 & throw in Mayweather, Pac, Fury etc it looks like the future could be monthly PPV events.

we as boxing fans are paying the bill for the football and they are all gready corporations that make us pay

Yes way Quigg is beating Frampton

People seem happy to pay it though. When I was a kid I used to love the ppv's, the difference is you would usually get some great British world champs defending their titles and then it would go out to America and you would get to see some even bigger fights. Now we have to pay extra to watch prospects?

The way to beat Frampton was made clear in his last fight, if the Quigg team adopt a similar strategy there will be a few surprises I think?

Boxing fans aren't paying the bill. Boxing fans are a tiny pool most of whom know how farcical 'whyte vs joshua' & 'brooke v gavin' is as ppv.

Make no mistake the direction of matchroom/sky box office is entirely geared towards football fans, who already get their monies worth on prem games.

Just out of interest - do you have to be a Sky Sports subscriber to watch PPVs? I'm guessing no. If you're only paying for SS to watch boxing, it's going to reach a point (may have already been reached) where you bin off regular SS and just subscribe to BN and then pay for the one off Sky PPVs.

I don't think you have to pay for SS but you still have to subscribe to sky in some way or another.

His last fight was on PPV so in effect he is now a PPV fighter. I'm sure he has used this logic before.
He might not headline his own PPVs yet, but I'd be surprised if he has too many fights on regular sky. Same as Mitchell has been. He'll be used for stacking those cards along with Boomer, Campbell, Burns etc

He was meaning headlining in his own right.
