Jennings also goes into his shell when he gets caught and likes to run, if he dosen't get Ko'd by ortiz's first few big shots he'll cover up and run and lose on points.
Mayweather also goes into his shell and runs. Seemed to work out pretty well for him.

Jennings is far to basic and unskilled to win this fight if both men are at their best. Only way Jennings wins is if Ortiz comes in too fat and stops fighting in the mid rounds.

This will be a very close and competitive fight, regardless of Ortiz's obvious advantage in power.
It seems like a lot of Ortiz's fans are oblivious to the fact that Ortiz has faced NO ONE who could even be considered a top 15 heavyweight. His best wins came against the likes of Lateef Kayode (!) and Matias Ariel Vidondo (!!!). I'm not saying that disregards Ortiz as a contender, but to say Jennings is no match for Ortiz is to ignore their respective records and focus only on Ortiz's reputation as a big puncher and Jennings' style as more of a boxer.
Jennings gave one of the longest reigning lineal champions one of the more competitive fights he's had in years, and even in spite of Klitschko's loss to Fury, that is still more than Ortiz has accomplished. He also possesses wins over solid opponents like Mike Perez and Artur Szpilka.
I'm picking Jenning by decision on Saturday. By no means do I dismiss Ortiz's chances of victory, but to say Jennings has no shot is simply ludicrous.

Sort of like how you are no match for the English language?

This is a really good matchup. I actually think Jennings should be the narrow favourite due to his superior professional record and athleticism. That said, Ortiz is the more skilled and the harder puncher. If Jennings boxes smart from a distance, he should be able to win a decision or stop Ortiz late. If they start trading in close, the odds swing heavily in Ortiz's favour.

I saw a few of Ortiz's early pro fights. Strong southpaw, but may not have the fastest hands. His chin is a mystery due to good defense and limited opposition. Jennings needs to land the right, be evasive and not get knocked out.

Going with Luis Ortiz to win this. I'm a huge fan. Being from South Florida I got to watch all of Luis Ortiz's early fights. The man's incredible. He has everything. Great defense, great chin, power, accurate with his punches. You name it. He's a very complete fighter. I think he beats just about anyone in the HW Division right now. Just a few more hours I'm excited. Hopefully I don't end up eating my words lol

I've now seen Ortiz fight a couple times and i'm all in. To me, he's clearly the top of the class in this division that's getting more interesting by the day. He reminds me of a southpaw version of Larry Holmes but with more athletic ability and amateur success. I'd love to see him work on his English and poise with the microphone if i'm Golden Boy. He seems very likable and marketable to me.

Guys that can stand in with Ortiz?
Joshua most likely, but only since he proved he can take blows from a big puncher and remain dangerous enough to deliver his own.
Wilder, because he can put anyone to sleep. But less so than Joshua because I am still not sure about Deontay's chin.
Anyone who has to depend on strictly out boxing Ortiz is in for a world of hurt.

Only problem is that he's 36 years old. A big strong hard punching southpaw, sounds like the last guy Wilder or Fury will want to fight.

The way the division is now, his age is not an immediate problem.
He has at least 4 good years if he takes care of himself, more if he goes the BHop/Wlad route and gets fanatical about it.

Kool I think he has the possibility of being at the top level for the next 4 or 5 years.
But he could get old over night. It is so hard to predict what a fighter with so many amateur fights
is going to do.Though his pro career is not that long so far.His body has still taken a toll with
over 300 plus fights.
I would like to think he could go for 4 more years because I think he could give us some real exciting fights.
I guess all of us will hope for the best.I would love to see him take out Joshua
