Same here. And it worked.
Me too

all the other Joshua opponents have known their place and either just accepted the rough stuff or not been able to do anything about it. Joshua smacked him after the bell so Whyte smacked him back.

Yeah he wasn't gonna be bullied.

Unlikely this will ever be proved but on what basis? Just because he talks and acts more street?

For me the match became a wrestling match rather boxing at that point.

I suppose with all the kicks and knees he has in his arsenal from his kickboxing years that he's not allowed to throw in boxing. He does appear to be something of a beast.
I don't think he was trying to get disqualified either I don't think he planned any of that either. Dillian is a live wire, it seems. I'd like to see how his career pans out. I'm a fan.

Kickboxers have more to them, a leg is more likely to land than a punch, they are overall better fighters, more in there locker

Not true. How often do you see kicks landed in a street fight? They're mostly fought at very close range and get very scrappy. Punches, heads, elbows and grappling come in more useful. Plus kicks are hard to time and hard to land.

they are professional boxers. nothing to do with street fighting.

Iv seen people knocked out with head kicks when fighting, I also see people knocked out when punched from a boxer, when skilled fighters fight ok street it's usually one shot and clean. Overall a kickboxer will be a better overall fighter

It reminded me a bit like Bowe-Holfyield. Bowe always used to hit after the bell, and Holyfield would go ballistic and they would end up having a punch up.
I personally don't blame Whyte reacting the way he did. It was old fashioned bullying from Joshua, nothing more, nothing less.

I'm a huge fan of his too.
He talks the talk but has the heart and ability to back himself up.
Really hope than Joshua vacates the Brit/commonwealth titles.
Joshua against Chisora doesn't need the British title on the line as both are clearly a level above that.
Personally I'd find Whyte against either Cornish/Fury/Sexton/Towers for the British title very interesting indeed.

if you watch the clip Banks nudges Whyte as he is throwing his punch . If that didn't happen Foster or Joshua could have been seriously hurt. at that stage it was a free shot and Whyte was swinging for the fence. Well done to Banks he deserves the most credit. I feel should of been a point of Joshua and a warning to both fighters. I think we seen the real Joshua jumping on the ropes with Whyte knocked out. He is not the nice guy his hype train tells us

do you think he is any different to people who tend to get done for intent to supply??
the PR machine works hard but you can see when he fights, and in the gloves are off programme that he has a nasty streak. hell what boxer doesn't have a nasty streak

It's exciting times for British fans. America had Bowe and Judah the P4P melee kings.
Bowe starting a riot in Madison square garden is the GOAT melee.
We got lucky and found a natural riot starter in Herbie Hide who took the Americans on at their own game. No leisure centre was safe in Norwich in the mid 90s from the occasional chair fling.
Hopefully Whyte can improve over the next few fights. Bigger entourage would help. Maybe hire legendary manager Rock Newman. Teddy Atlas in to replace Banks.
Be great to have a bad boy.
