Re: Lomachenko - is the most skilled/talented Boxer in the world - agree?

Likely. Amazing skills.
Crawford reminds me of a smaller version of Hearns. Of course, with less one punch stopping power.littlepug wrote:Who is hitman jr ?Tanzio wrote:I think that Chocolatito, Rigo, Hitman Jr., Postol, 3G, and SOGgy are all on or above Loma's level.

Good point. I agree with you that there those two big fish got away but his last 3 fights have been against guys that don't even rank in the top 10 in the Featherweight Division. I can see 1 out of the 3 being showcase stay busy fights but 3 out of 3? That's very Al Haymon-like. Top Rank signed him with the promise of title shots right out of the gate and Loma has more control over his career and fights than most fighters. So, I agree somewhat with your point but still think that he could have chosen better.King Carlos wrote:You seem to be under the impression that who a fighter fights is entirely up to him. Loma has been consistently calling out the big names, and even agreed to Rigondeaux's demands before Rigo went back on his word. He's not the one avoiding anybody. Rigo wants nothing to do with him and Walters has moved up to 130 already. Loma is unfortunately gonna stay at Featherweight until he realizes the remaining big fights probably aren't going to happen due to management disputes. That's why he's been fighting push-overs this year. He hasn't been able to get anything else. Unless he gets a fight with Selby soon, he'll make the move up to 130 and eventually 135.caldo2025 wrote:At first, I was impressed that we finally have a blue chip prospect that wants to fight the best right out of the gate. I think that it was scandalous how quickly he was able to land two title fights though at the same time. But when he grabbed his first world title on the second attempt, I thought that he would continue to want to accumulate belts and fight the toughest available. Instead, the 3 fights since gaining the belt have been against underwhelming opposition. And now, he deserves to be criticized. What was it all about then?ikorolev wrote:
Why people are so preoccupied with Loma's loss in his SECOND professional fight against the solid rugged Mexican who was 10 pounds heavier and was allowed to throw tons of low blows and other dirty tactics ?
Loma's only real problem skill wise is his relative feather-fistedness which explains why "Vasyl couldn't get Piriyapinyo out of there or how long it took him to stop Koasicha and Rodriguez recently".
The level of opposition he fights is due to very high risk, low reward issue and the fact that he is with Arum, so Haymon fighters are unavailable. Rigo is afraid to move up and face him.
I'm very interested to see who he picks for the next fight. If it's not a huge step up in quality then he's just another top tier boxer biding his time and boring me.
I agree that this past year or so has largely been a waste for him.
Pardon my intrusion but Loma has had a grand total of 6 fights. Maybe he finally realized that he isn't slap fighting children anymore.caldo2025 wrote:Good point. I don't always mention race, I made one thread long ago about different nationalities of fighters having their countrymen support them and y'all haters got all bent out of shape because I suggested that we do the same for our countrymen fighters and y'all called it being racial.Horse wrote:You always mention race. Just stop going on about it.

You have a logic problem, el duderino.Undefeated49-0 wrote:Wow dude, honestly you have a serious problem with reading comprehension. I said I posted that towards that idiot Killer Kovalev based on the fact that he (Killer Kovalev) had made a couple of threads about RACE and white supremacy in those threads and he made many comments all favoring boxers with white skin.
I was mocking him, you're an idiot if you don't understand it now, can't you see why I stated it now??
If not, then you are one dumb MFer for real.
Wow dude, I swear you and Tanzio are the same people, whooooosh, that's the sound of it going right over your dome.Horse wrote:You have a logic problem, el duderino. People who never mention race... never mention race. You do mention race, so saying that you don't is incorrect.

It's obvious you missed all the other Racial Posts and things he's made here so I will count that towards that for now or if you have already saw it then I will count it towards your need to be confrontational towards me for simply responding.
Horse, here's the other thread started by the now "Banned" Killer Kovalev:

And you're asking me why I made that remark towards him, lol.
