What really annoys me is boxing 'fans' like Horse that stream allegedly rather than pay 39 pence per day to support the channel. If they shut down, we'll see a lot less boxing.

They did not have to bid for Klitschko/Fury though, they were partners. If Warren did not go behind team Fury's back trying make deal with Hrunov it would have been on BN by default.

Yup, can't argue with the price for HD boxing.

Sky seems to have lost interest in the sport unless it's plugging their own PPV events.

Bill Ives is a seriously wealthy man. These losses are loose change to him, and for tax purposes, he could presumably offset the losses against some of the more profitably companies in his portfolio.

According to Peter Fury FW made a deal with Hrunov to participate in the purse bid. Fury thought he was representing them as a broadcast partner so he expected Frank to share the details of the deal, but Frank refused to give them information, essentially bid against the team Fury. Therefore Fury decided to make a deal with K2 rather then bid.

allegedly is a brilliant channel although id like to see one if not two british shows a month

Hopefully allegedly don't go under, imagine watching uncompetitive match ups every other week on sky. for eg Eubank vs Jeter

Its pretty sad to say but I couldn't imagine not having BN.

It's worth £12/month for Buncey alone

It will be a real shame for BN to go but I am confident that FW has sufficient liquidity in his financial network.
