I read that nonsense about waking himself up in the night to eat...and my mate reminded me that body builders do exactly the same thing...and we both drew our own conclusions...

David Haye would always be a welcome addition to the HW division but bulking up, dodgy shoulder, unwillingness to roll the dice in his biggest fight, I can't see this comeback ending well for him.

He will do pretty well and earn himself a few more million then eventually ending in a heavy defeat against the new king Tyson Fury.

And what conclusion is that?

I don't believe he was waking up during the night, disrupted sleep pattern would outweigh any nutritional benefits. I think he meant setting an alarm so he was regular throughout the day.

As an aside- what do you call that compere with the microwave/. Can remember one the last fights I had he was introducing us but whilst we were in the ring or on the way he thought it was an appropriate time to announce to the crowd that he was going to be on ;The weakest link' with Anne Robinson on BBC later in that week and that we all should tune in egomaniac.

Gareth a Davies posted an interview with Shane mgguigan recently that had some interesting quotes. Shane said haye hated training more than anyone he's worked with and he was in bad shape just a few months ago. Doesn't sound hugely postitive and kind of gives weight to the theory haye is coming back for the money.

To be fair, Haye has never pretended to like training, he's always hated it as far as I remember.

Eh? No-one is saying he doesn't train, just that he doesn't like it.

..doesn't like training? As if that's nothing to worry about? at this stage his conditioning needs to be at its best, to maximize what he's got left in the tank. I think this first guy is a patsy and if Haye struggles with him even a little bit, gets winded or gets on his bike, not a good sign.
