My brother pat Doherty fought John Doherty for the British super feather weight title and johns first name was pat as well but he used john so there wasn't 2 pat Doherty's.

Your brother was Pat Doherty? Wow... I remember him... Exciting fighter. Was part of that weird super feather British title jinx in the 80s where everyone seemed to lose the title in an upset in their first defence...

Yeah true an example was Michael Ayres (I think?) had to change so picked Gomez.

Yeah he'd struggle to make cruiserweight now little fat git He was always in good fights even if I say so myself
