People moan about jumped up stars beating up road sweepers, which they have a good point.i see good even matches in this
Egginton v skeete
Gamal v Jenkinson
Rooney v Ffrench
Wiggins v fields
Chello renda always exciting
Aswell as Kal and a few more
Thats my point, I believe the 4 fights being shown live are

Eggington v Skeete
K Yafai v Flores
Jenkinson v G Yafai
Ffrench v Rooney

Don't know a lot about Flores has fought for a world title but all his wins come in Nicaragua so I'm guessing he maybe worse than his record may suggest. But the other fights are really good in my opinion. Jenkinson v Yafai and Eggington v Skeete are real 50/50s I'm struggling to pick winners on and Ffrench v Rooney a proper local derby for the Midlands area title (a title that when I think of the best fights I've seen always crops up).

When I think of that compared to the first Matchroom Birmingham card which was full of big names (AJ, Callum Smith, Campbell, Macklin etc) I know which one I'd choose that one was awful.

If someone see's a running order (specifically for the non televised fights) could you post it here please

They're the best nights mate :TU: I'll be doing the same accept motor mouth and the kids will be in so I'll need to get the earphones out! Still on the fence for this one. Genuinely can't pick a winner.

Interesting match up to be fair egginton is a tough cookie and I doubt skeete will want anything to do with trading with eggington and just run all night, trying to frustrate his younger opponent I still think Eggington will do just enough though on points.

I'm really struggling to get any excitement for this card and can't put my finger on why. There's 50/50's and I like both Egginton and Skeete. I dunno what it is. Hopefully it's more interesting/exciting than I currently anticipate.

Really? I'm no Eddie apologist but I can think of many many worse cards than this. I actually think this is a decent card ok there's no massive names on the bill but most fights are competitive. I'd prefer this type bill than a bill full of big names in walk overs.

Agree think ste tho can see people moaning as they might know of some of the undercard fighters cause their not from the Midlands. Being local and knowing the lads like ste I think their are some very good match ups on the card. Wud have gone but going to Rome instead.
Yeah you might have a point there mate maybe I see it as a better card than others because of the local interest.

Still even as a tv viewer think I'd prefer to see a fight like Ffrench v Rooney than a bigger name in a 6/8 round walkover. I'm glad that they're showing it on telly fair enough plenty of people watching on tv might think who are these to start but I've got a feeling its gonna be an entertaining fight!

Have a good time in Rome :TU:

Cheers mate
