not according to me,that Haymon just gave him the title.Jacobs haven't beaten anyone for the title,according to me before Jacobs won the title he fought poor competition and also defended his title,1 or 2 against other weaker opponents.

Who cares about belts the champion at 160 is GGG everyone knows that so Jacobs if he wants to be champ would have to beat GGG. But he does not want to do that because he knows what will happen so he takes the American way out and cowards away from the champ. He wants nothing to do with GGG. If he did he would have pursued the fight. Jacobs means nothing.

No we don't know that, what you believe isn't what is so. Canelo is the Lineal Champion though he may be beatable by GGG, so far all we have is GGG beating up guys who has already been beaten, C or B level hasbeen or neverhasbeen, fighters with no power (Monroe) and fighters who lack a sound defense (Rubio, Stevens, etc.) I could go on and on but no A level fighters (not necessarily his fault at least in his weight class) but already we have anointed him as the man to beat.

I have never seen this done in this sport before for a fighter but somehow GGG gets a pass because of the way he is dispatching his opponents which is what he should be doing based on the level of comp he has fought. Am I saying Canelo is better? No, but I'm not ready to throw my hat in the arena and say that Golovkin is that dude just yet until we see how he does against A level comp.

Belts do not mean that much but they are used as good bargaining chips at the negotiating table when talking whether a fighter has something to lose or gain.

To say Jacobs means nothing is not true, he does mean something; he would help to legitimize GGG and to bring him another strap which would or could be used as weight to negotiate a possible unification bout of all the titles thus crowning Triple G as the man to beat in the division.

I understand that GGG is viewed as that man now but there's nothing in his record that says he is that man beyond an infinite doubt, to me I think he is but it still isn't written in stone.
