Chud outlanded him by 113 punches this fight. And 80 more power punches.
And loses.
Did you cash on that kimbo farce last night? Under in shamrock/Gracie too. More freak fights please. Lol

Had Gracie. Couldn't bet the other one. Bendo, Phil Davis, Will Brooks should be ashamed to be associated with this clownshow.
FYI Dada 5000 had a heart attack after the fight and is still on a ventilator. Guess that crash weight cut and having to fight longer than 15 seconds wasn't a good mix.

I saw, the line change scared me but watching that dude hit the most made me go big. Gut wrenching watching kimbo gasp for air and nearly collapse after 2 minutes.

Kimbo and Dada are both terribly conditioned. Terrible. I found Shamrock/Gracie more gut wrenching since they used to have actual skills and abilities.

Royce was one of the most boring fighters on Earth on the most exciting day of his life. Shamrock's "Legendary" status is vastly overblown. He's Legendary because he was there at the beginning, that's about it.

You're sounding butthurt again, ikorolev. Chudinov is making a living.
What the f4ck is wrong with you ? If it just about money, why are you even watching ?

As I said , Chudinov had to stop Sturm to get the win. Now that WBA trinket will stay for long time in Germany. I hope Chudinov got a fat paycheck.

Nothing is wrong with me. You, however, must be delusional to have thought that Sturm would not get the nod if he made it the distance. Team Chudinov had to have understood the situation when they took the payday.
It isn't about the money to me, but it should be all about the money for professional boxers. Chudinov (hopefully) was paid well. He will get another opportunity, if he wants it.

I agree, but that doesn't change the fact that they had skills and abilities.

118-110 for me. Gave Sturm just the 1st (v close) and 7th. He worked hard in 11 and 12 but still outpointed IMO.

I think we will see #3. Mendoza supports the rematch. Chudinov's team threatens to sue WBA and judges.

Chudinov's team claims that he was given uncomfortable gloves and it took significant effort to close fists in them. If that is true, what f4cking morons they are not protesting that before the fight. Even more: why couldn't the champion pick his own gloves ???

Given that the WBA ordered a rematch when Sturm was clearly beaten the first time, it will be farcical (though unsurprising) if they don't order Sturm to give Chudinov a shot.

There's a second side to that story.
Yes, Chudinov's camp are claiming the gloves were substandard.
But the glove manufacturer, Grant, are countering that by claiming Chudinov's camp must have applied something to them. Because they looked mysteriously shiny, started to flake and were making Sturm's eyes sting during the fight.

Of course glove manufacturer would deny any wrongdoing. Chudinov didn't need any cheating to win. He did it with ease both times, but was robbed in the second fight. Sturm was the one who needed cheating.

The truth in this one is going to be hard to get to the bottom of, and no doubt even harder to prove.

Given we have professional judges, obvious robberies just shouldn't happen. Fair enough if the crowd sway the judges by a round or two, but 5 or 6 rounds does suggest a level of corruption somewhere. Trouble is boxing isn't a sport where corruption or cheating is pursued or punished with any sense of vigour or conviction from any of the authorities.

I judged one of Sturm fight in Germany and because I didn't give him the decision, I'm a mark men now in Germany

I had it 115-113 Chudinov but I was generous to Sturm in a couple of rounds.
Anyone got a feeling Sturm-Stieglitz isn't too far away?
